XUV400verse is powered by Metadome.ai. According to Mahindra, the platform will enable customers to engage, collaborate and socialize while offering an immersive product experience.

XUV400verse includes a virtual showroom with guided and free-roam options, an LED wall with spatial sound interactive avatars along with merchandise and accessory zones.

Customers can create their own avatars and customize their SUVs using the 3D configurator. The platform will also host virtual test drives with multiple modes and camera views.

When you want to look like the product you are not. The launch platform does not have to be tech that is not proven, or relevant. But, I need to give it to the marketing team's appetite to experiment.

So a fancier website, but in 3D?

I may be too old for this, but I seriously fail to get the point.
What does Mahindra expect to happen?
People "immerse" themselves in this experience and book a car online?

Or is this supposed to help prospective customers get a 3D view and information about what they might want to buy? Don't the existing websites already provide this information?

All this is nice, but if I am shelling out hard earned money, I certainly want to physically touch and feel.
And I absolutely need a test drive.
