Above post is correct. AC runs off the HV battery and charge drop is 1% every 30 minutes depending on auto ac temperature setting. Driver never uses ac when stationary or when we are not in board ( old school driver who hates ac!)

While I agree with not generalising and blindly bashing, this outlook is not correct. They can't go out of the market because there are no replacements for them. Foreign trucks and buses cannot compete in the local market because of the heavy tax on imported goods. Businesses don't really have any other option but to buy them if they want to break even.

That being said, their commercial vehicles are generally built to a better standard and have fewer issues than their passenger cars. Mainly because there is no rapid innovation going on over there, it's just tried and tested products without any complex electronics.

Yours is a white color car, so the AC uses less kwh to cool, since under a hot sun the temperature inside a parked black car is 5 C to 10 C hotter then a white car, depending on the season.
