Re: MG Windsor EV Review

Yeah, it does. I'm attaching a screenshot. The greyed out part is the address but you can see in the lower end of the app, it has central lock, AC, and windows. I've used this feature as well and it works. You don't get to choose what temperature you want to cool the car to, though. It just turns on the AC.

Also, the car will automatically turn the AC off after ten minutes if you don't start the car.

On the ZS EV, you can click HVAC button on the top right corner and set the temperature. Does that not work?

Turns out I've haven't explored the app enough. It works! It does allow you to set the temperature. Thank you so much for this!

Re: MG Windsor EV Review

Have been offered the car by the dealership now twice, first I refused due to lack of clarity on the Delhi govt as the rto registration charges remained at 10% opposed of going to 0% which was ordered as the final extension of the current EV state policy.
The dealer again requested to take delivery towards end of Nov, however I feel now the delivery would be better in Jan with registration for 2025. Also I would be able to cement the decision after some much anticipated initial ownership reviews.

In addition, heartiest congratulations to the new owners. With respect to the acres of glass area, does anyone intends to use sun film/ safety glazing for the moon roof ( Essence), the windows and the rear glasses?
If yes, please do share your experience

Re: MG Windsor EV Review

With so much hallabaloo about Windsor, have the owners or TD public noticed, this is purely a LHD car, don't believe me check the passenger door it has the key lock, and not the driver side.

On a lighter note, when the Windsor owners put up their car for sale in the future, this might happen

I think our team bhp review here specifically points it out with a clear picture. Do check the review.

Thanks for the information. SA at Concept MG dealership was telling me that this remote AC ON/OFF function is not present in Windsor EV. It is available in ZS EV.

Re: MG Windsor EV Review

Can someone who have already taken the delivery confirm regarding the dealer imparted charges? My dealer is charging 12,500 bugs as VAS. And they are adamant that this has to be paid. But They are relaxed on insurance and accessories stuff..So what is the forum's take on this kind of charges?

The moonroof already comes pre-tinted slightly in blue, personally i find it better than tinting it black.

Yesterday was a sunny day, although the glass got warm it did block a lot of direct sunlight unlike a lot of clear glass sunroofs

Tbh real test will happen in summers

This is what I received from my dealer. Nothing such as Value added services. Accessories can be customised or not taken and same goes for insurance.

Re: MG Windsor EV Review

So I will have to negotiate with them to revert this charges, I guess.
They are saying that this is the dealer charges for their behind the scenes work!!
Do I have to contact MG directly if the dealer do not budge?

Agree for the moon roof: if not broken don't fix it, I was wondering for the clear tint like arctic cool and any other safety glazing. My bad was not clear in my earlier post.

Looking at the mammoth windscreen and the every other glass ( Non UV Cut) that is nice and holy giving the Windsor its super spacious aura. How would it fair with the North Indian summers is my greatest concern, even more than the range anxiety.

Need to report it to MG, check some of my previous posts I have provided email ids from MG to report any BS stunt dealership is trying to pull, in your case its even more severe and almost scam level as no dealership can harge anything like VAS

MG is quite proactive in dealership reports, in two instances I got a callback within an hour itself from MG and then 3-4 hour from dealership
