Tata is offering life time warranty only for 45 for both nexon & Curvv not for 55.
Don’t know the reasons.

Does anyone know how to activate the 'Deep Discharge' Mode in the Nexon EV 45? There is an option in the centre display screen and once entered it says the car needs to have he electric park brake activated and there is no other button to begin the process.

I live in Chennai and have 3 phase power supply for my apartment with a sanctioned load 5.0 KW.
For installation of 7kw charger in my parking space do I have to get an approval from Tamil Nadu EB ?
While charging the car in the night can i use other appliances like AC, washing machine etc.,

I am not sure how electricity board works in chennai, but the cumulative maximum demand (MD) must be less than your sanctioned load. If you're not able to increase your sanctioned load, you can derate your charger from 7kw to something lower. If you ask me, 3.3 kw should be fine.
You can use other appliances but the MD shouldn't cross the sanctioned load (atleast on a regular basis).

You can throttle the wall charger to a power output within rhe sanctioned load. Assuming you have a 1.5 ton AC that you use pretty much daily, you can setup the charger to draw about 3KW and use the remaining 2KW load for running all the other appliances in your home. I have mine currently set up for 2.7kw draw as I dont have an AC and my remaining house draws not more than 100-150W. With this setup my car takes about 17hours to charge from 10% to 100% SoC.

Is this dynamic can we change the charger speed back and forth. Is it an easy exercise. I use an iPhone so any app I need beyond the spin Ev app.

The one i have is not compatible with iOS but it allows very fine changes to the chargers current settings. You can also call the exicom guys to do this adjustment but its a cumbersome process.

I had posted here once regarding an android app called EV debug, it is available only as an apk form , can connect via Bluetooth to EXICOM charger and instantaneously adjust the output current . The slide in spin EV app is useless
