Yes I agree with you wholeheartedly.
I seriously considered the Ioniq5 because I just loved its looks, functionality, range and other positives. But it is indeed a very expensive car. Somehow Im not able to bring myself to go for cars which cost so much, though perhaps I might do so one day, from the used market.
But it is honestly, (as per my view), far too large for a tight squeeze city like Bangalore with the narrow roads we have. Also, while it is great for highway tripping, I don't want any more, a wider car than absolutely necessary, for my drives up to the nearby hill stations.
That’s why as I have remarked earlier, if they had brought something like a scaled down Ioniq3, I’d have grabbed one.
And that is also why, the Kona represented an absolutely superbly sized and proportioned product and a real value for money package, when I considered my own personal need and want state.
Indeed it is a pity that Hyundai didn't bring us the bigger battery pack in the Kona and also chose not to launch newer versions here in India. |
