I have Adani and am looking to have a separate meter for 11kW charger. Current sanctioned load is only 8.01kW, 3phase which is grossly insufficient.

Appreciate your help!
For me it was MSEB and the entire process took around 30 days

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Got first taste of bugs yesterday and today. Before that everything was working properly (completed the first 500 kms).

1. Faulty unlock - When I unlocked the car in evening today, the concealed door handles didn't get out both on driver and passenger side. Neither I feel a "click" on pressing them to get it out.
2. Even the boot was not opening from the boot opening button neither using the leg gesture.
3. Steering-mounted media controls stopped working, I was not able to increase, decrease volume, play / pause music, change track.
4. When I restarted the car, the "Welcome to XEV 9E..." welcome note started playing in full volume, after 2-3 seconds of low volume playback.

All of the above happened today after I tried remote AC control for the first time. Don't know if it is connected.

Yesterday and Today, I also faced another issue on instrument cluster, the immobilizer and tyre pressure warning icon was displaying continuously on the instrument cluster. When I tried to check tyre pressure from center console, it showed blank entries where the pressure shows up. Although when I check the same using my Me4U app, tyre pressure appears normally.

Both these icons dissappeared during my morning commute today but reappeared during evening commute. When I used M-Lens feature on Me4U app yesterday which helps in identifying what the icon means, for immobilizer icon, it said that this is a malfunction if it is showing continuously, it may blink during start but should not show continuously. It recommends to get the vehicle check if it is continuously showing up.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

New bookings are open again, maybe in view of the Tata Harrier EV.

How can Mahindra keep up its timelines of pack 1 and 2 deliveries announced initially ?

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

There was an issue with one of the tyre on my XEV 9e which was driven only 1450Km. Went to landmark Q city service center for check up and warranty claim for tyre. As per service manager he said it will take 2-3 days to get approvals. Since the car needs to be in service center any ways asked them to do 1st free service. Service is done by Saturday evening but since they still did not get approval for tyre change, car is still at service centre. Saturday night none of them touched the car but last night i.e Sunday night a few hours ago some one started the car moved it little away within the service center and is in idle state with AC on since then it was at 80% now came down to 75% not sure if some one using it for illegal activity or taking nap. Not able to sleep getting idle notifications every 10mins. Not sure how to deal this with this situation. Need help on how to take on dealership. Though I’m waiting for tyre replacement but cannot be silent on this.

Try to never leave car at dealership, any OEM, its just always sad.

If you talk to the dealership, you'll probably not get anywhere. Best to initiate a email from the me4U app, and tell them the facts. The fact that seatbelt warning came, means someone was using the seat. I guess that's the best you can do, Mahindra should do the rest.

The tyre replacement will be covered by Mahindra, not the dealership, so they are obligated to replace it at any cost. However, that doesn’t mean someone can remain inside the car for several hours. It’s quite clear that the staff used the vehicle. Since you have the exact time and date, it’s easy to verify this through CCTV footage. Ask them to show the visuals and take appropriate action based on the evidence.

Thank you for the support. They checked cctv and identified the person it was one of their security.
They terminated him yesterday.
As promised earlier they replaced the tyre.
All thanks to Mr Abhishek service manager and dealer leadership for sorting the issue immediately.
This kind of response will restore the trust. They promised this will not repeat and this is the 1st incident that came to their notice.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Got my Xev 9e C7kw delivered yesterday. Negotiated a decent deal on the insurance with the dealer and got it at Rs84,000 (IDV 29,68,000). Accesories like 3D mats, full matting, Screen guard are well priced and good quality.

The experience with my dealer (Neon motors, Visakhapatnam) has been pleasant though they were insisting on full payment before PDI. The vehicle had minor scratches but got it resolved after providing with Teflon coating. I booked on Feb 12th, but got the call for delivery towards end of may. They stated that the black colour was in heavy demand, hence the delay.

Coming to the vehicle itself, I was absolutely stunned. Earlier I did a test drive but driving to home for about 160km gave me more insight. The amount of information you get from the vehicle, the way it assists you is really wholesome. Upgrading from a more recent 2020 Tata harrier to this felt like stepping into a 5th Gen fighter jet after flying a 3rd gen. All the features i checked so far worked well, no glitches including adaptive cruise, auto park. The emergency steering was precise and impressed me, I didn't know this was a feature though I did some research. Started with 79% on battery and ended up with 51% after reaching home (Mostly in range/default mode). The range or default mode itself seems more than sufficient, drives at par or better than most ICE cars.

Overall, happy with my purchase, I was worried about all the niggles being discussed but driving it in person cleared apprehensions. The car truly punches above it's weight, Mahindra should be proud. Mahindra XEV 9e Review-20250617_144317.jpg

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Had a quick TD of the XUV9e this afternoon and here are my observations coming from someone who drive a petrol Swift and a Tjet:

Positive's:
1. Goes like stink even in default mode but feels it's weight
2. Steering feel was surprisingly nice with a hint of feedback
3. Front seats felt comfy for the short TD.
4. Lots of legroom in the back but I found under-thigh support lacking
5. Acoustic glass works well and its very quiet on the inside
6. Humongous boot

Negative's:
1. Interior plastic quality/texture is worse than the Punch EV IMHO
2. Door beading quality for 37L is atrocious (see pic).
3. Rear view vision is very poor, and even with mirrors its a challenge unless one gets used to it
4. Brakes have no modulation. It's either 0 or 1?
5. Total bull about not being able to see the 3rd screen. Sales guy was adjusting the audio and I could see everything.
6. Moves quite a bit on its springs over a bad surface at slow speeds, but rides well at speed

Potential Buyers, please get this clarified from Mahindra. MG just delivered a weird bouncer. Please get this use case clarified from Mahindra before you buy. If possible help the community by posting here the response.

I guess this is normal. If battery has warranty for 7 years and your battery is replaced at 3 year mark, you have battery warranty for next 4 years on the new battery.

Kindly note this is not "battery warranty", but "Vehicle warranty" that they are talking about, which is only 3 years.

Its not normal, it's a poorly typed email from a customer service exec likely to be fired for this.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Hello, fellow BHPians! This is my first post here and I'm looking for some advice.

I just sent my XEV 9e for the first servicing since it's been a month since I purchased. My running has only been ~500kms. I just received a call from the service advisor that they can do the servicing only after completion of 2000 kms. When I insisted on getting the servicing done since the car is already at the service center, I was told that even if they do the servicing now, the car will again throw a service reminder after crossing 2000 kms and I will need to bring the car again to the service center to get rid of that reminder. Has anybody else faced a similar situation, and how did they go about it?
