Also did the dealership accept to remove the essential kit from your invoice? I also got to know that many dealerships have brought down the insurance cost to 1.3 to 1.4L after the negative feedbacks that went around. What was your insurance cost ? Sorry, lot of questions
Haven't spoken to them again on the dleivery dates after the invoicing. Will speak to them tomorrow to get further clarity.

There was no arguement on the essential accessory cost removal since they didn't have the list of items that would be covered unde rthe essential package handy with them. Saw some excel provided by the dealership on the BE6 review on this forum and it covers most of the accessories that i would have got eitherways. Problem is accessory pricing is still not confirmed by my dealership atleast.

For insurance, original quoted price was 1,93,609. They provided a Rs. 60,000 discount on the same.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

They never revealed the charger prices for the XEV9e and BE6, and XEV9e top spec is a lakh costlier than that. What is the use of saving 1 lakh? Rather customers can buy the other variant of XEV9e

I have been pushing for this but they haven't committed. My SA is only committing to within March delivery, although the car has been with them since 19th Feb at least when I first saw it.

According to my SA my vehicle was dispatched from the factory last Friday i.e the 8th of March and they are yet to receive it , which in my opinion is unlikely. Till yesterday I was assured PDI on 12th March 2025 and delivery on 16th March but today morning the same was changed to 20-22nd of March.

I hear, M&M has delayed delivery dates for all (to 20th and beyond), because most charger feasibility assessments haven't happened so far.

I dont see any difference between Inhouse and other insurance providers.
Do check if dealership will provide cashless repair facilities with Acko. That was my main deciding factor to bear the 50K extra

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Spoke to my SA from Mumbai dealership. They iinformed to me that Mahindra is yet to give confirmation on the delivery dates. They haven’t officially done the invoicing yet though payments from customers are done. Tentative dates apparently is 16th March for invoicing, post which they will complete the RTO procedures and post 20th approx hold a common red carpet event held by dealer for the delivery of the first lot of cars (At some hotel with buffet is what I am being told).

On the accessories piece they told me the parts have arrived, but billing on system has still not opened so they are not able to finalise and communicate to customers.

Yes Acko has cashless tie up with most of the garages and all of the Mahindra's service centers are included to it. You can do a comparison by having a discussion with one of their representative who responds actively during their working hours. Post your discussion please post your opinion too

Thanks ! I've my purchase planned in late August. Given the lack of awareness and unavailability I ordered my switchgear a month ago from abroad, It should arrive in time.

I hope the charger has built in leakage and surge protection , The switchgear M&M team installed is of reputed brand but not suited for the application.

For EVs we'd want a Type B RCCB/RCBO that can detect smooth DC leakages. The one they've installed is of Type AC that too of 2P rather than a 4P.

Similarly for SPDs
They've used one with Uc rating of 320V, Data sheets from L&K donot further specify if its L-N or L-L , either way it would cause nuisance.

Also they omitted the backup fuse for the SPD.

I did study Electrical engineering and I'm feeling embarrassed now!
I'll try to convey this to the charger team and see what they have to say.

Regarding SPD, they said the unit will continue to work even if the fuse is gone, and that I have to keep an eye on it and replace the fuse when it's gone.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Does anyone have an idea if it’s possible to see the nebula blue and stealth black colour 9E’s in person in any stockyard or showroom in Delhi?

Seems like you are the only one who got to this stage! Where is this box supposed to be installed? near the wall charger or the source meter? e.g. I expect to have a reasonable distance between the two.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Got a call from my Mahindra dealer in mumbai today congratulating that the vehicle has been allotted to me. Says the vehicle is in transit should arrive in next 3-4 days. To which I asked what is the manufacturing month of the vehicle, they said January 2025. So I am a bit skeptical that I am buying a new vehicle without any discount and it’s manufactured 2 months ago. My vehicle will be January 2025 manufactured and march 2025 registered. I want some guidance if this is ok and should I go ahead with it. Secondly I took up the inflated insurance price after which they have sent me this quotation which they say includes all add-on like battery protection + motor protection +on board charger protection and zero depreciation too. I asked on the clarity on vehicle warranty and battery life time warranty, to which the sent me pictures which I have attached.
