Registration data is already available and shows >90 M.E.A.L. cars registered pan India and >50 in Maharastra. This number will include the dealer registration as well.

After looking at the registration data using the vahan dashboard, I have come across some interesting insights: Few snippets are attached

Dashboard access : https://analytics.parivahan.gov.in/a...blicdashboard/

Individual Registrations made by M.E.A.L:

January: 2 Nos

February: None

March: 33 Nos

Despite the delivery guidelines from M&M, it appears that dealerships may have ignored them and proceeded with sales. This data covers registrations across India, and filtering state-wise reveals that one vehicle was even registered in Tamil Nadu in March.

VAHAN Approval and Dealership Actions:

Dealerships previously stated that VAHAN approval was still in progress.

However, on March, over 30 vehicles were registered.

Given that Mahindra had closed its Dealer Management System (DMS) across India to prevent invoicing, this raises the question: were these vehicles registered internally by M&M, or were they allocated to VVIPs and celebrities?

Forum Sightings and Early Deliveries:

A forum user reported spotting a Tango Red XEV 9E parked in a community, suggesting a possible customer delivery.

If one vehicle was successfully delivered, why did other customers have to wait?

Official Update from Dealerships:

The latest update from my dealership indicates that S/W updates are in progress.

Replacement keys are expected to arrive before Monday. It was confirmed that the keys are being replaced for all vehicle PAN India

Deliveries are expected to commence from March 20th.

The accuracy of these information disclosed by dealershipes remains uncertain. Given these findings, further clarity from M&M on the registration and delivery process would be helpful to understand the situation better.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Does anyone have an update on how much the 20 inch alloy and tire upgrade will cost and if it’s available presently?

Also, I saw a 9E fitted with an door projection light somewhere on youtube but the same is not listed in their accessories list. Anyone has any idea if its an accessory which is available?

Projection light is placed on the running board below both front doors. For pack 3 at least.

Is this standard on pack 3 or a separate accessory? Any idea about the pricing if its an accessory?

I was told it would cost about 50k extra. But my dealer says 20inch option is not available currently and Mahindra is yet give an ETA. In fact, I see that my online booking has already been modified to 19inch. Not sure who did it - Dealer or Mahindra themselves.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Mahindra seem to have quietly dropped 20 inch option. There is no option now to select wheel size on BEV website.

Yes it’s part of the standard equipment at least for the pack 3. Attaching a picture of Vehicle manual where it is mentioned as “Carpet Lamp”

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Would anyone know how can we commercialize the charger? It's going to lie unused for most of the day. Is is possible to list it on Plugshare or such other app?

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

I did a small 16km test drive of 9E today on Bangalore Airport road. Never crossed 80kmph on the road. Gentle foot, no sudden acceleration or braking. Probably too optimistic driving that I could have ever done. In this 16km drive, I used 3% of the battery - indicating a range of 533km on the best case scenario. That was promising.

By any chance, do you have a picture or video of them in action? I think i saw a picture or video somewhere but I cannot find it anymore.

Strangely, its not visible even in Mahindra’s own promotional pictures as well as launch. Reviewers don’t show it either including our own Team BHP review.

You mean that the vehicles' keys would be replaced right?

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

I visited one of the dealer’s stockyard and saw 100-200 of Mahindra BEVs parked there. All of them were extremely dirty and full of dust and dirt on the exterior; seems like they have been standing there since at least a month.

None of the cars had the white protective stickers on them and 80% of the cars were XEVs and 20% were BE’s. White and nebula blue were the most common colours, followed by desert myst and then red. Stealth black and forest green were very rare in the stockyard. I didn’t spot a single ruby velvet.

Though I know most cars are kept in stockyards like this, it felt really sad seeing the cars kept in this condition with no protective covering to protect the paint and all this will just be cleaned with a dirty rag at the showroom. Also the 2 km to and fro from the stockyard to the main road is pretty much an offroad path suited to a Thar

Does it make sense to get the charger from Mahindra since they include the DB box, cabling and installation in the price or getting a charger from Amazon and getting it installed ourselves? I have a BSES Rajdhani connection in Delhi which is 1 phase and sanctioned load is just 3Kw.

Lastly, did anyone get confirmation if the charger can be opted out of in the first lot delivery?

Looking at the scratches on the screens I guess we should definitely put a screen guard over it as soon we get the car
