Interesting! I always interpreted it as more like a permanent issue, but you are right, load can be a permanent/ unsolvable issue too.

The only thing to see is, most people (specifically in North), will not have spare load (because of the loads of ACs and Heaters we have to use) and most will have to manage load by turning off extra water-heater/ AC to charge the EV, so can most then claim lack of available load to avoid paying for the charger.

Thanks for that. Its good as well as very expensive!

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

I’m sharing a frontal and side comparison of XEV 9E in Nebula Blue vs XUV 700 in Napoli Black.

9E’s extra width is very apparent here as well as the longer hood. The height of the cars is similar but XUV 700 is definitely taller.

9E looks like a modernized version of the 700 with the small headlamp cluster (surprising how its possible to fit the similar setup in such a smaller unit) and the missing fog lights like all modern cars. Also 700 has a more upright stance with way more glass area including the windshield as well.

The space wastage is apparent at the rear with the coupe design and sloping roofline but it looks good to me and anyway 700’s last row isn’t really a proper third row.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

My SA mentioned that the delivery 'should' happen on the 20th. No solid promises yet. However, they collected all info needed for the registration and said they ar proceeding with RTO formalities.

Still, the burning question for me is the option to opt out of buying the charger. The SA said the excuse that the charger is billed to the dealership already. It feels like a tax on early believers. Mahindra should issue clarity on this soon.

I am also looking at options to get this exchanged with someone else who has booked later.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

ME4U is available in both Android and Apple Stores. The APP has really stepped up its game with connected car features and health metric integration, which is pretty innovative! The smartwatch control feature is another big plus it makes accessing vehicle functions much more convenient.

On the flip side, Mahindra For You (M&M's app) being down for three weeks is a serious issue and I dont see any progress they had made to correct the issue. BEV ecosystem relies on connected services, this kind of downtime in future could really hurt customers and should be resolved immediately to justify for 30L+ price tag.

It’s also surprising that MM would let a critical app stay offline for this long have they at least issued any official statement or timeline for fixing it? Mahindra SUV users please share your comments

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Has anyone seen a demo of the "Theater Mode" in action?

Is it just for syncing the same media across the screens or can the vehicle functions and media be controlled from the backseat as well? Would be great if we can just connect an Android tablet and have a limousine like experience.

Does anyone have any details on the PPF listed under accessories - specifically, which brand the dealership is offering? Also, what dashcam is being provided for INR 13,500? Since the 360-degree camera already allows footage downloads, is there any practical advantage to having an external dashcam? Would love to know if it’s worth adding.

Are you able to login to the app? It just says number not registered. This is in Android.

The M4U app works for me - so maybe an issue at your end. You should try re-installing it

No. Once your car is officially billed and invoiced through Mahindra's DMS, then you would be able to login.

So I don't think currently anyone would be able to login.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Mahindra being Mahindra yet again, my SA called me on 28th Feb stating that my vehicle has been dispatched and that he requires me to transfer the ex showroom amount at the earliest to this effect I asked him to give it to me in writing that incase I reject the vehicle during PDI he will provide a replacement vehicle right away. Post that only he agreed to let me transfer the balance post PDI and just to assure him that I will be taking the delivery I did transfer him some money. It’s 17th today I have been repeatedly asking him whether my vehicle has reached their yard or not but again he is just dilly dallying and not giving any satisfactory reply, till date hasn’t finalised the amount that I will have to pay for insurance. Not the kind of experience you expect when you pay the amount of money that you are.

Seems HVAC can be controlled from the back seat as well as some apps as per this video from Mahindra.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Hi Guys
I have been closing following the Mahindra BEV closely since first announcement, did test drive of both vehicles and liked the XEV 9E and all features & performance of the vehicle.
After comparison of all pack features, very disappointed with xev 9e pack 2 features, mainly two things bothering me, front ventilated seats and 360 camera missing.. given the price point, size of vehicle and competition pricing feel at least 360 camera should have been there. I will wait for another couple of months as the delivery is anyways not going to happen till June/July and checkout Harrier /Sierra as they are expected to launch sooner.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Sharing the accessories price list for XEV 9E.

I spoke to CRM regarding the delivery dates, but they are unsure of the exact schedule. The most likely dates are 20th and 21st March.

Given the uncertainty, a bulk delivery doesn’t seem feasible at the moment. They plan to start deliveries as soon as the vehicles are ready(Key replacements; S/W update and accessories stocks), possibly around 20th or 21st March.

Has anyone received any different updates?

I prebooked the BE6 in January. I was told that I got my car allocated last week and to come and make the payment for the car. I went to showroom only to find out that i was assigned a wrong color (I gave white gloss as my choice first and then changed it to Tango Red well before 14th of February. My official booking was made by them for Tango Red too). Guess they didn't update it in their internal systems and assigned me a white one. I asked for car with my choice of color and they said they will contact me again later if they get a red one in next lots. Since i went to showroom I hoped I would at least find the insurance details. SA said he doesn't have any info on it and he is expecting to get Insurance details by 18th or 19th. How are they expecting us to pay for the car if they don't even know how much are they going to charge for insurance?

I have been assured a delivery on the 21st of March, and idk whether I’m gonna receive the vehicle or not considering the dealership hasn’t answered my queries nor have they contacted me for PDI or RTO formalities.
