Re: Mahindra BE 6 Review

Does anyone here have pictures of the green Be6 (Deep forest).

Please share.

I had booked Be6 pack 3 with 11 kw charger in Desert myst satin on Feb14 by 9.30 am but never got an allocation or any update. Today got a call saying my car is delayed and I'll probably have to wait 8 weeks more. So I called a different dealership who said they have a be6 available in Deep forest with 7kw charger. I was anyways okay with the shade of green or even whites. Only color I didn't like were the orange and red. So I agreed and paid the partial payment.

I now need to show my wife the shade but can't seem to find any images online and the 3D configurator just doesn't seem to represent the shade well. So if anyone has the pics, that would help out.

Also I'm planning on taking the 7kw charger as I already have a 11 installed at my hotel property and have a 120kw charger being installed in a few months. Hope its enough coz if not I'll have to get one from statiq or buy one seperately from Mahindra at a later date.

Are all the deliveries being done for 11 kw charger? I am being told that the car delivery has been delayed for cars with 7 kw chargers and for those who have opted out.

If you can wait, please wait it out.
In my honest opinion, deep forest can't be compared to the satin desert Myst in any way.

Deep forest doesn't do justice to this car.

Also mahindra's official website has the option to switch and see colors now. (Real pics of the car)

As I can see you are from gonikoppal and I assume you have booked initially from India Garage mysore.
Please let me know from which other dealer are you connecting to get the green colour.
Both my bangalore sireesh auto and mysore india garage have no news of my car yet.
Thank you.

Congratulations, enjoy!
Also could anyone who has had the delivery could try the sonic sound mimicking various engine sounds like the v8 engine sound and tell how the feel was

I had a booking for an 11kW, and got it delivered.

I think what you're experiencing might be showroom specific.

Even though AR Rahman has done the sound effects and everything, it’s not anything special. The V8 sound effect is very very mild compared to an actual V8.

The mini cooper EV I drove some time back had far far better sound effects in the go kart mode that actually went with the car.

Thank you.
I initially pre-booked my car at PPS in Bangalore but they refused to deliver a car because I wanted a KA12 registration. I then managed to secure one at Sireesh in Yelahanka on Feb 14 by 9.30 AM officially but all their promises fell flat and yesterday they told me 'minimum 8 weeks' needed for delivery and that would mean end of May. Ultimately, I'm now taking delivery from Sireesh at Silk Board who had a car in stock.

I’d recommend calling all the showrooms to check their available inventory. For me, getting a car as soon as possible was crucial due to frequent travel commitments for personal reasons. Being without a car since October 24 has severely disrupted my plans, so I’m relieved that everything finally fell into place.

My initial choice was Deep Forest, but I ended up booking Satin Desert Myst solely because I was promised an earlier delivery. I was also concerned that opting for a darker shade might affect my car's range during the summer. However, as I mentioned, getting the car delivered by the end of the month was crucial for me. If this car hadn't been available, I would have canceled my booking and chosen a different option. If I grow tired of the shade, I might get it wrapped at a later date. So no issues there.

Despite making my booking at 9:30 AM on February 14 and even providing a pre-booking cheque in January with assurances of early delivery, my sales advisor dropped a bombshell yesterday during our call, stating that the delivery would take a minimum of eight weeks. Until then, he had consistently assured me that the car was in the stockyard and would be delivered this month. This makes me suspect that they are prioritizing customers with "influence" or recommendations while sidelining others. I've been given every possible excuse, and interestingly, the other dealership I spoke with was surprised that I hadn't received my allocation yet, given my booking status.

Not true. Taking mine with 7kw charger on Friday or Saturday.

y.
Thats why I had suggested calling Sireesh Bommanahalli (Silk Board). They are very responsive. And the Exec whom I had connected you to, is serious about customer service.

If it was your initial choice, then it is a win win for you.

As for the dealership suddenly dropping the bombshell, that seems to be the case.
I have seen it happen personally, even though Mahindra says that the customer needs to be taken into loop, but that rarely happens.

For me, it’s definitely a win-win. My wife and I didn’t have that "love at first sight" moment with the Desert Mist, but we understood it would grow on us once it became "ours"—mainly because we were aiming for an early allocation.

I do know two people who booked in March but have already been allocated their vehicles, simply because they “know someone.” That’s a bit frustrating.

I really think Mahindra should be more transparent and provide direct updates to customers based on their booking IDs—like: Booked, In Manufacturing, Manufactured, Shipped to Dealer, Invoiced—and even allow tracking of this through their M4U app. It could help prevent the kind of issues some customers are facing with dealerships.

On a different note, my only concern is that my home charger will be limited to 7kW when I was hoping for the 11kW. Hopefully, I can find someone who needs a 7kW and we can swap, covering the price difference. I’d much rather have a Mahindra charger because of the app integration and ease of use, rather than going with a third-party one. But that's an issue for another day. Who knows, maybe Team-BHP will be where I find someone to swap chargers with!

Should have listened to you earlier buddy, But thank you very much, because it was your suggestion that finally got me the allocation and delivery confirmation. Hopefully we can connect someday in Bangalore over coffee or a brew and talk about our cars.

My booking is with sireesh auto silk board where I had given a cheque in early January itself to rebook.
Very pale response or rather no response from the SA.
It would be helpful if you could pass on the contact number of the executive who responds well there.
Thank you
