Are they giving 11 KW with the top end atleast like in the TATA's or has to be purchased for 73k if i remember correctly.

Is there any option of a /7 KW home charger Free of cost
Thank you for the wishes

From what I know, there are 2 versions of top variant, one with a 11kW charger included and one without (similar to TATAs).

You have to pay that extra 70k if you want the variant with 11kW AC charger.

Also, I don't think Hyundai provides 7kW chargers?

Thanks for the info. Sad if even the TOP end does not provide the 11KW by default.
Any tinkering which had to be done at home to upgrade the cabling / wiring for the home box charger installation?

Since they already provide 3kW slow charger and the AC fast charging requires some additional tinkering at the home which may not be feasible for everyone, it would be a waste for the company to simply provide it for free, unless they develop some early booking schemes such as "book before this date to get free AC fast charger" or something along those lines.

This is my first time getting a AC fast charger and someone from Hyundai will be coming to set it up, so I'm unaware of all the details except that you need to have 3 phase set up in your home.

BHPian sushanthys made a great detailed post about this.

Re: 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Review

I'm confused between Creta EV and E Vitara.
Any suggestions?
Evitara looks like a solid 5 star.
Not planning BE6/XEV.

Re: 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Review

I test drove the Creta EV this weekend and I must say that no other car, even a few segements above, has impressed me more. This is the most practical car I have ever seen!

1. Looks good, nothing to comment on it.
2. All parts of driving are sorted - steering, throttle response, breaking, regen work as expected
3. I might be wrong but both the suspension and the handling felt better than regular Creta.
4. I feel that the pricing is spot on, expecially for Bangalore with its high road taxes for ICE cars and zero tax for EVs
5. 350 km of safe range is enough for my usage. Most travel spots near Bangalore, even ooty, are less than 300 km away.
6. I felt that interior color scheme and plastics are not that great. That's the only blocker for me. It might be ok for the price but that gray and blue doesn't feel special. Even my 13 year old Honda city feels more premium inside.

I am really surprised how easily EVs are able to match the driving experience of much more expensive ICE cars. I don't think Q3 drives significanly better than this. You literally have to run experiments and do some deep investigation to find fauls in this car!

Whereas I'm really excited to go and TD a car after 3 years and have felt for a while the Creta is a good option,
I just cannot imagine a car with all these features does not have wireless CP and AA .
This is something i use daily on the up and down commute of 40 kms and every trip on weekends.
This maybe a deal breaker for me inspite of everything thats good in Creta and make an option for me to go with the Nexon or E Vitara. No Mahindra for me.

You can easily fix this with a dongle. I know it's a very strange omission, with an easy and elegant work araound, but definitely not a deal breaker.

I'm using that option on the JAZZ with DIgipad2,0.
As good as the Dongle is, any dongle will have te delay and is still not factory fit.

Its a glaring omission by the otherwise feature loaded Creta.

Which Dongle are you using? I have been using Carlinkit 5.0 for the past 2 years on my Tucson and it works flawlessly 99% of the time, such that you would think it came with the car itself.

This omission is related to their full size screen I guess. The small screens and the new 12 inch screen from Kia Syros does come with wireless AA and CarPlay.

Anyway, as much as it was a glaring omission, it was an easy fix in my case.

Hi when the vehicle is so feature loaded, they should have given this is all I'm saying.
if KIA does it in Carens/ Seltos EV i will opt for that
I'm using the OTTOCAST one which works ok for city but does heat up and get unresponsive after an hour or so.

Asking because we are planning to get ourselves an EV as a secondary car soon this year and Creta is one of the contenders.

So far, we have driven only about 200 km.

If I recall, when we took the car from the showroom, it was around 93% SOC, but can't remember the range figure. We have driven for around 140 Km and there was 55% left, with 255km range.

Charged to 78% today and it was showing 380 Km range (not sure if it's accurate).

It's difficult to tell to what extent we can extract the claimed range figure, especially since the car is driven by 3 persons in my home. Out of those 3 persons, me and my brother are not sedative drivers

I remember reading somewhere that the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto would be made available later this year as an OTA update?

Would be great if you can share that article, i can understand on the 100 KW battery charge coming later, this however, does not make any sense.
Whereas, I understand dongle is an option, something so basic should be factory fitted.
