I have attached the trip details since last hard reset more than a week ago, it is close to 750+ km and 24hrs+ data through multiple driving sessions. The car is giving more than 9km/Kwh and we can conclude the car is really efficient in day to day use.

I rarely exceed 80km/h unless I need to overtake, most of my Highway run is between 70-80 km/h with occasional beep for overspeeding. I guess there would be a significant range drop at constant high speeds as regen is not used a lot and of wind drag. You will learn how to drive an ev after a while, Occasional release of foot from accelerator is a must for best range even in highways. The car also need to be driven light pedal, with only gradual acceleration.

And the range extracted exceeds 400 here for the electric?

I have to decide between the Be 6 59kw or this actually. I have some time, my idea is to book the car between May or June this year.

In theory the car should return the worst range at this stage, but it is returning 9.5km/kwh.
The Mrs owns a Creta Turbo, and we are in search of an EV to substitute her vehicle. From what you've accomplished, it seems quite intriguing. I will certainly check out the Creta EV and see if they provide a favorable exchange deal.

Re: 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Review

After seeing the uncompetitive pack size and pricing I remember writing that only Hyundai’s range magic could save this car. Excited to see evidence surfacing! But Hyundai EVs love Kerala (don’t we all) and I remember a Kona owning member did a 400 km road trip in Kerala, without charging, a few years back.

Re: 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Review

I booked the Creta electric last week and it will be delivered in 4-6 weeks. Still confused between grey and green matter colors

It's a head over heart decision, and I am pretty sure that this would be an excellent car for anyone who drives his car majorly within the city with once in a quarter outstation trip of 400-500kms.

Matte colors looks cool, but it is not easy to take care of it. Make sure you tell your sale executive not to polish your car before delivery. Also buy matte color shampoo from amazon and be prepared to handwash for life. You won't go wrong with both the colors. I was thinking to get ppf, but decided against it after research. My car was the first emerald matte delivered in Kerala

Re: 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Review

Any idea when this Creta series will be crash tested? Unable to find anything on the internet regarding this. Will be choosing between the BE6 Pack 2, Creta EV (Top variant) and the Verna Turbo DCT. However I need to be sure that I'm getting a 5 star safety rating, since Verna has it and the BE6 is expected to have it due to Mahindra's other vehicles.

Re: 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Review

Did anyone purchase Creta EV 42kw? I haven't seen any of the reviews of this battery pack yet, hence asking.

Going by the walkaround reviews of 42kw, the range was being displayed at 403 Kms in one vlog while 367 Kms (I'll have to cross check once again) in another vlog.

BE 6 already has a 5 star rating, check out their X handle. Both XEV 9e and BE 6 have a 5 star rating.

Now I see why the excellent range numbers. You sir, if can drive at such speeds constantly on highways are going to return mind numbing numbers and I congratulate you for that.

But the moment you start driving >80 kph regularly the range would drop drastically. Thanks for clarifying this important part.

Re: 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Review

Compared to other EVs if u check with the Kona reviews, Hyundai EVs do return very good range with amazing km/kw numbers. This seems to be carried forward with Creta EV too. No surprise there. Whether it is to do with NMC chemistry? I donno. Good job by Hyundai.
