2 Lakh Electric Car ?

Yeah, that's right. 2 Lakhs for this chinese electric car that runs for 130km on every charge of the lead acid batteries. Nothing concrete seems to have been done yet for the production of this car.

If the car is what it claims to be coupled with the cost at which it would be offered, then its going to be simply awesome. However I am feeling sceptical if Mr. Rajasekar has calculated the Govt levies and taxes in metros like Mumbai.
I guess the best bet would be to launch this car in a B grade town rather than any of the metros or A grade towns.

The car looks like spark. Surely better looking than the REVA. But Made in China is the concern here.IMO

This is indeed the Chery QQ which is a ripoff of the Spark. Chevy couldnt do too much with Chinese laws being the way they are, but I presume they will take a firm stand against this cars introduction in India.

well if the picture is believeable along with the price... I'm thinking of buying one ... 130kms for a full charge is really good. Old reva hardly does 80kms

Have bought a few Chinese batteries in the past which did not last one song on a discman. So awaiting a 130km claim test before judgement.

Why is that the wipers of the car in the opposite direction? - Like Logan. This car is not from Europe OR Amreeca.

GM won the lawsuit and Cherry was forced to pull this design out of the market. I guess it applies only to China.

Well, how much power does this 'One Charge' consume compared to Reva? Lead acid batteries? What does Reva use?
