This is not a PS job or an April fools joke, but a real picture of a working prototype of a LWB 4 seater Reva. But sadly it never saw the light of the day.

Was browsing http://www.revaclub.com/reva-electric-car-pictures.html and found the pic here.

Found it interesting so putting it here. Mods, if something like this exists, kindly merge with the old or valid thread.

I run the REVA Car Club website and I have seen and sat in this car. There is enough space in the rear of the car for a tall adult to make themselves comfortable.

This particular car is now used by the CTO of REVA as his car to commute too and from work. As well as being lengthened, it has a full leather dashboard, leather roof lining and a 230 volt power socket under the rear seats.

Because of its extra length, it looks a lot more conventional than the production REVA i. It is a shame that the car did not go into production in this form: it could not have been sold in Europe because it would not fit the quadricycle classification, but I imagine it could have sold well in India.

REVA produced a number of different concept cars based on the current car, including two convertibles and versions with various styling modifications.

However, none of that technology or work has been lost, it is all being incorporated into the REVA NXR. I've driven that car and it is very good indeed - not just when compared to the existing REVA, but when compared to other electric cars from mainstream manufacturers.
