I'd put these pix in the DSLR thread too but then, somehow I felt they can do good in this thread also.

I have posted this image before in a dedicated thread in Motorbike forum, but many of you might not have seen it there.

After not being able to make it to a photoshoot last Sunday, I thought I'll console myself in the evening. Shot near Kanakapura

theMAG,

I like the shot, but I would have preferred a lower angle as the grass would have added some asthetic value to the photograph. The only problem I have with the photograph posted is the trees sticking out from the car . Doesn't make for a simple BG .

maggie I would have preferred to have the car at one corner of the frame. The landscape looks pretty good, manual focus from a 70-300mm would have been even better.

HW - that grass is taller than it appears. I have a few lower-angle shots which I'll try to put up, but I thought that they were tall enough to take focus away from the main subject.

Swamy - this piece of location was nowhere as contiguous as the Masai Mara of the Beetle shot- trust me on this ! Through the 70-300 lens, even at 70 mm focal length, the car covered most of the frame. I do have some distance shots from the 18-55 which I've not yet post-processed. I'll see which one makes sense and then post.

Maggie, Nice shot, But as Riju said, the car should have been at the corner.

Check the edited pic. Wish the background had less trees.

The DOF of the picture is just too deep! Looks like a shot through kit lens at a wider focal length than through a 70-300 lens.

One day my fiesta decided to go for a birding on its own ! As a result, I had to spend 2 hours to give a full wash.
