When approaching the tunnel on Mum-Pune expressway, it also reminds me of the Monaco GP tunnel entry.

How are supposed to understand when Google gives it an uninformative name and doesn't tell us. it is just the sort of thing that a newcomer to rooting and delving would think looks useless and is a good candidate for deletion!

This is the immobilizer coming into play. It's in the long bit opposite the key hinge. When it's not in proximity to the ignition, it won't turn on the engine.
