Mod - i understand it is jokes thread and enjoy the joke but i think in such cases it is better not to show the enemity inbetween two states or religion even through the jokes, which might not be a good thing.

I hope u understand

@gowda79, these are small ways that can help show how frivolous some sentiments can be. I agree with N_C - it is important for us to be able to laugh at ourselves.

I'm a Kannadiga & a Bangalorean, but I found the post funny. I dont think the post was personal or was directed at any body in particular.

Mr.Vivek the message means

beda guru bittu bidu - Leave them alone guys

ellaru chennagi irrli - let everyone be happy

If any kannada mods are there let Mr.Vivek know that what i have translated is correct.

There is nothing offensive about that sentence i wrote it b'cos i thought atleast by telling them in there own local language will make them understand better.

But buddy when someone is saying jokingly that Bangaloreans are foolish will u take it .....

even if it is a joke we should not hurt others feeling, if anyone reads it they will fell that Bangalore is unsafe for tamilians - Karanataka(Bangalore) welcomes all with open heart no bar for religion or languages.

Please understand what i am putting forward and we should stop it at this

Thank u all

In both cases, the enmity is more politically driven as opposed to idealogical. I think everybody on the board realises this.

Against this the other cases is with 2 countries which is happening from the day of freedom.

The other one is within the country between 2 states which is being planted by unwanted politicians and people who are making it gain for their publicity

I think Ajmat everyone understands it, u should also see to that as a mod u should be a role to follow.

Gowda,

It was a joke and jokes are meant to make you laugh. You do not need to take jokes seriously.

The post was not meant in an offensive way.Period.

I cannot understand why is it so difficult for you to understand that the post was a joke !!

Don't you laugh at Gujarati / Sadarji / Sindhi jokes ? If you have a problem then why laugh at those jokes ????

Just chill buddy. I don't think Ajmat wants to insult the State or its people ! He stays in the same state man.

On the other hand - why am I typing all this ? Will you understand ??
