Very nice - he looks like you. Shot around mid-day? The sunlight seems to be coming from top+behind.

@ Torqueguru: nice portraits. I don't understand much about portraits on film. Is there increasing demand for the old film type look, especially for print? Or were you just playing around?
Well, my transition to film has many reasons behind it. I recently made a blog update describing why I shoot film. You can check it out here

Your wildlife shots are very nice as usual. Keep them coming!

Very good point Samu.

I recently did a portrait shoot for a friend's horse. I carried my flash unit and a reflector with me to get these shots. They were all shot indoors at a stable.

Loved the colours, the water strip being in parallel to the bridge and building's skyline with a brilliant reflection of clouds and buildings. Great capture indeed!

Loved the lights.

Paid a surprise and quick visit @ home, some of these just before a rain yesterday.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

I just got the RAYNOX CM-2000 Macro kit.

All those who already know, please ignore the following essay.

Link to the main site: http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/35mmacc/egcm2000.htm

This kit is not available in India officially and either costs more or you have to buy from some unknown (reseller). My friend who was returning from US got it for me.

This kit has an adapter which can fit any lens of diameter between the range of 50-300 mm. Even though it says DSLR, it can even fir on a bridge camera, provided the diameter fulfils the requirement.

This Sunday, I got a chance to use this kit for the first time. The shots are not impressive, but you can get a feel of the amount of magnification one can achieve with this kit.

1) Common red-eyed fly:

This fly is of the size of a mustard seed (even smaller may be).
