@abhishek: Yes, for sure!
Nice shots there!

BTW, that picture was shot with ISO400, no NR done. I mistakenly wrote ISO200 earlier.

Last Friday at 5PM, I suddenly sense my office room growing very dark. That is odd considering it should be well lit by sunlight at this time and we haven't seen a cloudy day in many months.

So I look out of the window towards the sky and I see this:

Name:  cloud 001.jpg
Views: 470
Size:  91.4 KB

I am stunned, so I pick up my camera and run out to take a proper shot. I turn on the camera once I was outside and find the battery has run out. I dash back in to plonk in the spare battery and rush back again, so that I can shoot the cloud before it starts pouring. All this frantic activity draws notice, and soon most of the office staff are outside staring at the awesome dark clouds.

Yup, it was like that Lagaan song scene that goes... Ghanana ghanana ghir ghir... We were all ready to break into the song. We really needed a rain after weeks and weeks of heat wave.

Unfortunately, it turned out exactly like the Lagaan song. The clouds just moved on and we didn't get any rain. About 20 minutes later, it was sunny and hot again.

Thanks sammyboy, actually there is very little composition in these shots. The cloud is doing all the work.

Nope, not near the parking lot. It was taken near the lake. I am not sure if I can explain the exact location .
