GS, first one is too good, whats that reddish frame within the pic (around the head) ? Second and third comes in the artistic perspective I believe.

Thank you shaju. I was just experimenting with different frames and instead of making a border, I came up with this. Think a normal border would have looked better.

Jacs, does it give a pickle taste ? The pic is very sharp and clear, I can feel that moment looking at it, yours is a D90 right ?

Eagerly waiting to explore Tiruvannamalai and Pondicherry this weekend with HW and Unni. I am dying of excitement!!

Here is a full candle, part of yesterday's light experiment.

@shajux - really nice shots, putting the marco to good use. the full candle shot can be used as an e-card, can put some wording on the left. Real nice caputre.

Shaju,

You're posting the photographs on the wrong thread. They need to go to the theme photography thread :P.

OT: One of my photographs got published in Bangalore Mirror today. The article is about the flickr group I hang out with on weekends. It's more of an alternate day thing, one day of the weekend with T-bhp photogs and the other day with BWS folks. So here is the link,

Thiruvannamalai hasnt got much to offer, drive on to Gingee and explore the forts. Check my travelogue on my trip to the east coast.

An old one a HDR attempt, excuse the compression. Its on my flickr Album view the full size there.

Yajaman, thanks for the compliment.
HW, I hardly check the theme thread as I am very limited with my collections as you know. Congrats on your achievement !!! Such things will boost the confidence level and the personal effort to produce more creative and powerful messages in the upcoming shoots !! So, I need to plan more weekends shoot with you for sure.
Riju, the image looks like an exhibition item to me, perfect ! Thanks for the tip on Gingee, its anyway on the route to Pondy, so we will check it out for sure.

Ha ha ha ha. I'm so happy to hear that. You might hit me to death if i tell you what my equipment is . Thanks Shaju, its a pleasure for my 3+ years old mate.

I shoot with a Fuji Finepix S5600, just a step above the P&S cams. But I love this cam and found many fans for this model due to its VFM performance. None of the snaps are edited apart from resize or a crop sometimes.

BTW the wild orange with salt and chilly powder tasted special, exactly like pickled but very fresh and citrus.

Another snap of the wild berries found in Bannarghetta butterfly park.

Hmm, I think Thiruvannamalai has a lot to offer in terms of street photography. Will definitely explore Gingee.

Thanks Shaju. The funny part is even this photograph was taken without me looking into the viewfinder . They were pretty high so I had to stretch my arm and take a couple of shots to get the frame I wanted .
