Yes its wrong as long as the subject is not aware of it. Thats what my Gurus have taught me. I have tons of street portraits, but I always ask permission to shoot and even show them the image on cam. Hiding and shooting someone's privacy is wrong. Thats the main reason I use a 50mm . Probably others could share their views too.

I reduced the resolution to make the file size smaller so as to upload after cropping. Did that result in colour bleed?
GD, it's ok to do PP to get something different which looks pleasing or probably something which you want to show. It's actually quite evident that the sky was added/blended later. Please don't take it in a wrong way, I liked the photograph a lot and it's very pleasing to the eyes but the unfinished PP work is showing up in the photograph. [EDIt: I'm not trying to be morally right or wrong here but just pointing out that the PP is kind of unfinished]

I am too shy to do street photography, but I agree to this...

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Kaushik, thanks for your views but I do not do any post processing at all, other than cropping. Actually I'm not adept in PS and the only thing I'm familiar in this software is the cropping tool and the menu item - "Image size".

The original TIFF image has no such aberration but when I did the save as web mode this happened and I had not noticed it till pointed out.

Am posting another picture taken that day a bit earlier. Look forward to the comments.

Thanks. Experimenting with the lines these days. 31mm is not exactly wide on crop but provides enough field of view to capture these symmetrical lines.
Thats a nice pic. I will have to find those interesting subjects. It should make the composition more appealing provided simplicity is not lost.

This is another pic captured recently. There was just enough light to highlight the character and lines on the wall.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Here are some samples with my Canon - A3200 ( scaled down to 800X600 ):
All the above snaps are without flash.
I have tried my best to keep the camera steady.
ISOs 100~400.
Focus - Macro/Normal
Rest on auto mode ( still long way from taking as much stuff manual as possible!)
The images are unprocessed - as is - from the camera > compressed > tbhp
