I use Lightroom 2 to enhance the details, and topaz Adjust to reduce the noise ...Detailing in Topaz becomes so noisy because of my jpeg format...wish i had RAW too :(

Here one clicked recently before a bad storm hit San Jose. Its a pano of 3 images.

(I also need some inputs in one specific issue that I am facing in most of my pics wherein the Sky is in background. I get some kind of distortion around my primary subject. I have tried using the lowest ISO to reduce any unwanted Noise, but still am not satisfied with the outcome. Any pointers)

saving in jpg gives this problem, save in highest quality to prevent it.

If you are not using jpg, then it could be something else.
