Both of them are very good. I don't see any big issue here.

Rudra Sen,
Thanks, feels good to be complimented by professionals like you Torqueguru, Payne and others.
The issue in the pic. where the tiger entering the water..., I was too caught up trying to frame the tiger and missed out on the reflection in real time, had I noticed it I would have taken more shots with tiger and full reflection in frame.
Regards,

Amazing shot Fazal. Thanks for sharing.

How much time did you have to wait for, to get this frame?

@Fazal
Nice shots of the white tiger, its a pity they are no longer there in the wild, arent white they due to the albino gene?

Nice place to go fishing, clicked at San Franciso

NetfreakBombay,
Thanks for your appreciation.
It was about 4:30+ in the evening and I knew through my limited experience the way this tiger was striding along the water line, its intentions to get in. Waited for about 20 minutes before I got the first shot as he entered the water. On the previous pages you will see a picture of a lion yawning, at that time one can see the canines to their max. as he yawns... so as his mejesty was sleeping (it is the most boring thing) and they do it most of the time, I waited knowing what follows is the yawn after the slumber. for this pic. I waited about 35 minutes. And for the panther to stare direct into my camera (he was most disinterested even looking in my direction leave alone a stare) I shot about 30+ frames before i got the one I wanted.
Sometimes shots take place in an instant to an extent where you miss them, most frustrating thing in wildlife photography.
Sometimes they will give you an overdoze of poses (pics below).

TG.
TG,
You are right!
The principal gene which result in albinism prevents the body from making the amounts of melanin pigment, absence of this gene which is responsible for lack of colour pigmentation in our skin,eyes and hair.
Actually the white tiger is a freak, luckily for the world in the pre-independence years, Maharaja of Rewa (M.P.) managed to catch a white tiger (Mohan) alive and that single tiger is the great, great grand father of all the white tigers we see in captivity today (none exist in the wild and there is no record of any before Mohan).

@Fazal: Great Shots, I especially liked the close up shots. On spot exposure, perfect eye contact, and great bokeh to boot.

@TG: The fishing shot is a very nice compo.

@Samurai
Thank you Samu! And yes the eye contact in that shot of Fazal's is gripping to say the least.

Ok you guys are gonna massacre me for this! I could not resist building up a couple of HDRs!

a collage of the pics at a butterfly show that we attended today. This is an indian buttefly show with a lot of indian flavor, taste of india, indian movies etc over around 2 months.

most of the shot with my canon S2 IS and really missed not having my tripod. It would have looked out of place in the packed area.

Exceptional! Lovely composition. But this is where JPEG compression banding starts disturbing the pictures.

@ Vivek. Very good collection there boss. And have you lost some weight by any chance?
