@ Praful : You officially have one more fan
@ Clevermax : What is the camera that you use? I am never able to get such sharpness from my P&S. :(

@Praful : If this is mutual why not make a mutual meet this weekend. Shaju has already agreed to come. Let's not go OT here, I'll PM you with details.

Mine is an entry level DSLR, the Alpha 200. You need to have a real good P&S to get such sharpness as that of a fine lens. Which one do you use?

I have a Canon IXUS 900Ti. Its prettydated considering todays P&S Range, especially the Sony HX1, Nikon P900 and the likes...
I am happy with my camera, except the fact that the auto aperture and macro setting play a lot of spoilsport. I am planning a DSLR sometime soon...

Ofcourse from a hardware POV the SLR's are superior, but P&S's are pretty capable too once you get around their inherent limitations.

Nothing wrong in having an amateur photographers' meet as we have various meets already taking place. We will just give an idea over this thread and go into PM communication to avoid the clutter here. There are many beginner to advanced levels of shooters posting here. I can make myself free for weekends !

This Mountain Lion was inside a cage. Shot is through the wires using a telephoto. (You can actually make the wire's out if you look closely).
