On a serious note, even I thought that the guitarist is a distraction in the frame. Couldn't help. Either both of them or just the guitarist, I might not get a cleaner shot of the bus. So he stayed.

Thanks brother!
Even I'm a learner, all the pros here know that.
Just trying to understand the basics here.

As you are having access to guitars and guitarists, you should try something different next time. Make the guitarist sit in a corner of the street and play a melody, frame the shot with him as the main subject and rest of the frame blurred. You will find such shots from US and europe a lot. May be you could collect some money for few gadgets too !!

I will try that for sure, but please tell me how I can make some money out of it?

En-route to Bangalore, after a few days stay in my hometown, I was feeling miserable. This song can go well with this

@Samurai
I can only nod in complete agreement.
PS: Looks like my post you replied to, got deleted.

@Shaju
D3s, not D3x! And sorry I already went and got an old Canon t50. It has no manual controls apart from aperture. I have a feeling its going to be fun using it. Also looking at a Mamiya 645.

@preetam_KORG : Thats an inspiring work.
A novice question: how you managed the couple and the flowers both at the same frame in focus?The distant guys,trees and even the rack,pots are blurred! Two different shots and then PS or single shot then PS PS? Or no PS at all?

@vivekiny2k: Great!

@clevermax :
Thank you. About the PS bit, please refer next line

@Abhishek :
Thank you bro!
It is a single shot.
The focus is normal, so the camera did what it did (focus everything together)
The Blur is in PS.
Wanted to achieve some softness in the image so did that blur

TG: If you have plans for mamiya, my guru has one for sale (not advertised anywhere). Its a professional type, heavier and huge. I can check the model number from him if you are interested.

Preetam, the 'street series' is coming out fantastic. Graduating to a DSLR will defenitely be a big addition to the quality of work.

Awesome work TG and Preetam. TG, what lens? The clarity is superb!

Infact, Preetam showed me all these photographs on thursday night and I was inspired to do some street as well. I have to admit, I think I am falling in love with street and B&Ws. I was on a flickr group meet (Melukote trip) and here is what I got .

OT: The explored photo that I posted a couple of days back got selected by flickr for their event. It might get printed and displayed across three locations in India . I hope it does.

@clevermax
That from the D3s.

@Shaju
I already have talked to my friend, who is willing to give me his Mamiya 645.
But I do appreciate your thoughts!

@Hellwrath
