Its 50mm f/2.8, ISO 800, still its dark. I had to disable the focus assist lamp, otherwise few blows would have been guaranteed ! But it has spoiled the image.
Sometimes ISO1600 can provide better images because exposure time is reduced - noise builds up as you expose more. Check out the peacock picture I posted few pages back, shot at ISO1600.

On Preetam's behalf : I am not very sure what led to that golden colour, but all I can say that a little play with sliders, and an overcast sky at dusk never harmed anyone!

Nice shot. Guess that's an RE train and you shot it while coming down from the upper deck...?

I once happened to travel in an IC train first class, guess what there was nobody traveling in first class in that coach, so I went into the board-bistro and was talking to him!

This guy is a naughty one. He knocks on our door. Err... actually there is a plastic cover "hung" on the door (for milk man in the morning). The cover amuses this chap it seems.
Nice catch. Yesterday i found four squirrels playing in company garden. It was fun watching them trying to hide through the bushes and amusing the other. I wish i had a DSLR with 300mm lens .
