Not a good sign there shaju. Give it some time , keep clicking still you master the art. There is no PP without a proper composition, something I religiously follow.

Wow blacksta, though the first two image has their skies blownout, still great composition. The third pic is lovely and for me it would have been lovelier if the desert and sky was little bit desaturated, its just me .

Was not able to shoot well as i only had clever dudes beer can on, and this lens is simply not meant for wide angles.

Agreed 100%, sometimes people get impatient in the 'slow learning' process, I wish things could be fast-forwarded atleast on this field . Thats just a wish..Hmm.

I had a tough time because I didn't have the mask on, didn't know if it was focussing at all.

video came out much better. the camera was much smaller than the case, I stuffed it with paper towels still it kept turning to a side, as you can see in the video. The camera I used was my travel/pocket cam nikon L6.

apparatus used, I think I got a chinese knock off, paid 10$. the filter came off in first try, then I used superglue to permanently seal it.

Pramod
It was overcast at the monument valley (we had some rain too!) and was just beginning to get some sunlight in Arches - hence the drab looking skies.

Why did you use ISO3200 when you have the f/1.7 prime? IMO, even ISO1600 would've been far better in that camera.

Thanks. At times its truly difficult get the tilt right while shooting such images. Took me like 6 shots to get this right.
