Yes these sunset pictures, including your last one looks very warm to me.. Lovely shot, wish the bird was a bit more into the frame.
Posting a sunset picture I clicked (phone camera again) last week - this is not too warm in my opinion.

Yes, it is a little overexposed. Here is another one. Aperture is actually even wider, but used a faster shutter speed.

Could not agree more, GD saab, keep them coming ! Happy that you are on the move with your cam.

Understood what warm means to you. I dont like the tone in yours, because it feels like a fish curry without chilly to me May be thats close to what you saw, mine was closest to what I saw too. Hardly any color correction done in that. When I see that magical orange all around, I really love to enjoy it watching than clicking.

Lovely picture. Where do you go for your shoots? Is Bangalore still verdant and green? I remember the shot from Hebbal lake. In my time Ulsoor was pretty enough if you discounted the slimy green near the Madras Sappers end.

Took a few pictures of birds during my morning walk. The first is that of a Coppersmith barbet (refer Indian Birds, Birders and Birding: A beautiful collection of Birds of India). I do not know the name of the other bird. Can anyone help me out please?

Nice shots, though I would have preferred the birds to occupy a larger percentage of the frame.

Thank you so much for the info! You are most kind. Thank you once again. I was going nuts trying to get this little birdies name. The bird's song was the sweetest I have heard. With respect to the framing; this is the best I can do as further cropping will degrade picture quality. Just got a 70-300mm lens and I am finding that even that much reach is less.

The following picture contains a Coppersmith Barbet and a Golden Oriole in one branch. Today was a good morning to walk around.

That sunset shot is a beautiful one, lucky to have an office with a view like that

My last few shots are all from Hebbal lake, its just 1.5 kms from home. Even the birds there know me by now, seeing me they tell each other "that D90 guy has come again, lets fly away and give him nothing for the day", so I end up getting sky and water

Doctor sir, I missed commenting your previous birds shot, it was a beautiful one (the birds in flight touching the water). This one is a keeper too. Never seen a similar one till date. Good catch and good shot. Are you more into birding these days ?

Aakkulam bridge right? Very near to where I live!
Looks like a painting.. different than how I process HDRs.
One thing you could do differently was to align the photographs by matching features rather than aligning vertical and horizontal shifts.
Given the low light capability of our range of cams, make it a point to always shoot HDRs at ISO100.
