@clevermax
Insane detail dude!

Fall season, even though it lasts for just 2 weeks or so, is my favorite time in Washington state. Things become so colorful, warm and happy. A few shots taken last weekend.

Thanks TG!

Fall season, I think, is the best time to shoot some colorful pictures! Lovely shots! Some of them a panorama? Shallow DOF and good field of view!

Only the first shot is a pano, rest are single shots.

@TG - Great pictures capturing the glory of fall.

I chanced upon this one on my way to work. Alone and ready to shed.

These are one of the best photos on this thread IMO. Outstanding DoF, colours, composition.

Seems overexposed compared to your earlier work.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Ye indeed, but its in purpose. I was going for a glowing city look.
U can still see the details actually, the compression here makes it look really bad though. Check this out here http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8194/8...55cd440d_h.jpg

A couple of extremely low light situations in an aquarium. I used the D3s and Nikon 24mm f 1.4, at ISO 5000 for these shots. D3s still does remarkably well in low light, in comparison to the new bodies released this year.

I'm living a nomadic life between Portland, Maine and Hyderabad. Maine is truly a spectacular state for its scenic locations, both on and off the coast. Fall has been truly great this year. Sadly I'm just not getting enough time to take some pictures.

As often repeated there is always something new to learn from your pictures. Be it composition or PP. Great job, keep it going!

@Kamesh. I am glad that you are gaining good input from these images. Let me know if you are visiting Seattle any time.

Could not resist a black n white even in the colors of fall

Wow, the colors are just beautiful. I missed the fall colors entirely, despite being in NJ/NY in October. Fall is late in north east I think.

What is the camera hanging on the lady's neck?

Here is something I shot handheld at 1/8 sec using E-3 & 12-60mm. See in full size.

This one is shot handheld at 1/5 in ISO2000. Have used an art filter to hide the noise , see in full size.
