Nice shot it is. How did you manage the focus on her eyes while in action?

Thanks. No, this is the oldest Ryotei type restaurant, about 400 years old. The one you mentioned is a noodle restaurant that is 540 years old. They have so many classifications.

That's such a wonderfully subtle portrait. Well done Samu.

So here's what I had been upto. A mini photo essay titled "Bon Voyage".

I love the time I go on the Ferry. It's such a refreshing ride, especially on a sunny day with just the right amount of clouds in the sky. These photos were taken during many such trips with my lovely lady. I tried experimenting with multiple exposures quite a lot in this series. Never really thought I would enjoy it so much. It reminds me of juxtaposing compositions when I shoot reflections of glass and a subject through that same glass. I had a lot of fun shooting these!

Great pics!

What kind of post-processing have you done in these pics? Played with the curves to get this greenish tinge all over?

Wow, these days you hardly play by the rules. But you mastered the rules, before breaking them. Great stuff.

Nice shot as always. I was wondering when you visited KL secretly without showing up for the TBHP meet!

Thanks everyone, its very rare I come here, just to make sure friends are around So far I was running around like a monkey with fire on its tail, now I realized that such run is not going to reach anywhere. Going slow and steady !

Jac, kids went to Mumbai for vacation with wifee, I skipped holidays for the second year. No more sacrifices, planning for a solo tour very soon.

Thanks Fine69, these are processed using the split toning feature in Adobe Lightroom 4. And I did play with curves to adjust the shadows and highlights.

This ones nice but looks a little forced. The other one is so subtle, u caught her in that in between moments mood .
I really don't have a clue what I compose, I felt really cramped trying to go by the rules as I had been doing that for about 6 years, these days it's more instinctual photography, and the focus is on making a larger series that just "pretty" pictures. Sometimes certain images make sense as part if a larger essay, but can't stand on their own, and other times they stand alone as a photograph but don't make sense in the flow. Ruthless deletion is my best friend while putting these together.

TG sir,
Everytime I think of posting a pic, your pics make me go weak in the knees and I start thinking otherwise.

But still, I am daring to post one, clicked during a 400 KM drive completed yesterday. This was clicked from a bridge over a river at 30x telephoto.
