Last month i picked Benq SE2231 Monitor tv. BenQ India - Consumer Electronics. I paid Rs.15000/- for this. The quoted price was Rs.16,500/-.

Currently i am using it as TV. I like the colors. I tested it as monitor and it was good.

You can't share the screen space to watch tv and PC at the same time, but you can switch the input source on the remote and change between them in a second. You don't have to buy an additional TV tuner card.

It comes with many input options. AV, Component, HDMI, TV Antenna, VGA.

Also currently it is carring a free offer on DTH box with free installation and basic package for six month. They have the choice between Tata Sky, Sun DTH, Airtel.

Currently I have the 2033SW model which I got for 7250. This is also pretty good at "HD ready" 1600X900 resolution. Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, AMD Phenom II 920 CPU and an ASUS Mobo with Nvidia chipset gives it a real life effect.

Hi all, I am in need of upgrading my LG CRT to LCD. Preferably 20" is what I look. I would be purchasing a PS3 in the mere future. So, the LCD should be compaible with it. As of now, no gaming only movies. All movies are DVDRip, HDRip and BRRip. The resolution varies accordingly from 620 to 720 to 1080p. Back in another technology forum, I was suggested to go for Samsung 20". Which model should I choose according to my above requirements. I live in Delhi and need the price in here too. Please advice.

To day I did some shopping on gadgets.
1. LG20" LED Monitor for 7100. The clarity is wonderful. I tried to go for Samsung but with in my budget I could not do. LG is not less. I can see from all angles and the weight is may be 2 to 3 kgs.
Second thing I got Belkin wireless PC Adapter Rs700. The system did not detect the hard ware. Reported to Delkin toll free number and they told to check with some one's computer and report back. The other one is Microsoft Wireless KB and Mouse @1200. Both are doing well.

I am using Samsung’s SyncMaster™ 2233SWPLUS which is a Full HD LCD monitor, it comes with DVI-D and Normal D-sub inputs.

I use it all the time on full HD resolution thru a DVI-D cable connected to desktop running Asus GT 9400GT video card and video/games are great.

For TV watching, i am using external, Intex LCD TV Box, and can watch T.V. even with CPU off, and in case PC is on, move between TV - PC with a Click of button on Monitor's Side Panel.

I do plan to add another same LCD to get best extended desktop experience.

Hi Abhay and Shashank. Can you put up your views for this monitor. Also how much does it cost you?

My bro bought it for Rs. 7500. Is it a good deal? I won't be able to see it for 3 months, so i am asking it. Thanks

Actually, when I purchased the PC, I told them to add a wireless adapter to my PC. When I came home and checked the Belkin's box, it had a page wherein it was mentioned that it isn't compatible with Windows 7/Vista and you can check their website if there are future updates.

My product had a driver for Win 7, so I installed it but the PC crashed (I guess I installed the wrong driver or the product was faulty). They replaced the part and now after downloading the correct drivers, it's working fine.

Site : Belkin : Support : Vista

Re: Best LCD monitor?

I am in the market for LCD/LED monitors. Could you please suggest some good brand/models/shops? My budget is around 6K.
