Re: Steve Jobs RIP

He was a man who did not invent things, but saw the potential of existing inventions, and possessed both the marketing and business acumen to transform them into world-changing products.

RIP Steve P Jobs.

It is from TMZ: it was taken in August, the week after he resigned from Apple.

Re: Steve Jobs RIP

That picture is so obviously fake. Shows how these tabloids will go to any length to get publicity. Really bad taste.

Video seems to be fake. Article stated " a part of that video was taken from an interview with Steve by All Things Digital in 2010. "

Re: Steve Jobs RIP

Before Steve Jobs became really the tech icon, there was a movie called `Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999)' that traced the life of Steve and Bill in the 1970s. Worth watching especially for his foot on the table while interviewing a job aspirant.

As to recent excerpts from his biography, it would be worth researching on a famous Apple vs Microsoft case of the 1980s (Macintosh, GUI, and Xerox PARC). Apple lost that case.

It seems that Apple has been a serial litigator and what does not come out of apple is considered stolen.

As to Apple's current stock market value, consider that at various times, various tech companies have been in the top 5 at various stages over the last 2 decades: eg, NTT in the late-1980s, then NTT DoCoMo, Nokia, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc.

Apple's legacy and its impact can be considered after a decade or so. There have been so many tech products that were considered the next big thing, remained that way for many years, and are now no longer to be seen.

Re: Steve Jobs RIP

Every one knows that life is short and to be ended. But some never think it and take the wrong path to accumulate wealth and fame. Where as Steve Sincerely worked for the betterment of Apple and won the hearts of millions of apple fans. Still we feel for him is for his dedication, handwork and sincerity and not for the star power.
