Try this see if it helps.

U will need to install software ZAP in ur machine and connect the available proxyserver.
Zap can be downloaded
http://www.indexdata.dk/zap/
Warning: using ZAP may slow down the Firewall server.

Another alternative is to find the loop holes in the firewall. Sometimes the IT support leaves some connection reserved for full access which are used for their purpose or for high speed connectivity, find the ip adresses reserved and set your machines to that ip temporarily.

No offence Zappo but instead of going through all of this why don't you simply go to cyber cafe ?

Re: Office Websense blocks TBHP.

Its a very stupid kind of work from the N/W Admin. In my office we work in TIBCO and the tibco community is blocked.
How ever I had same issue. The admin blocked the site from browsing but again after 2-3 months it got open automatically... Dont know what policy the admin guys had changed. For me it looks like the FORUM word in URL is the culprit. Can you try to open some other technical forum ?
May be
Java Forums

Re: Office Websense blocks TBHP.

I will be moving to another location, where I am expecting message forums & social networking sites to be banned. I plan to use my mobile for tbhp; however I am unable to zoom in/ expand font size by 'double clicking' on the touch screen. Should this be done some other way?
I am not very tech savvy, so appreciate all advice.

Re: Office Websense blocks TBHP.

One of the best way to bypass blocks is using the help menu

Here is how you go about it.

open Worpad/ Notepad > click on the " help" tab > Click on " help Topics"

Office Websense blocks TBHP.-bypass.jpg

Now right click on the blue tab and click on " Jump to Url"

Office Websense blocks TBHP.-bypass-2.jpg

You get a pop up.

Copy the whole address of the site you want to load , starting from http . Click Ok.

Hope this helps.

Re: Office Websense blocks TBHP.

Every connection from internal network goes through proxy, so there is no way we can bypass. But yes there are 2 ways:

1. Http/s Tunneling
2. Maskafying your network admin

Re: Office Websense blocks TBHP.

Wel, I have figures out that the word "forum" in the url is not the culprit. I am able to access TE forum but not Tbhp or bcmt. I am able to access most of the Tech forums, but none of the others. There are some ways to bypass this, but that would mean putting your job in jeopardy. Not worth the risk. I also have some wierd issue. TBHp is bloacked under my login. but it will work if use a friend's login. So in order to figure out what is different we got hold of a network guy and start looking at some stuff. (in active directory) It is the same through out for both my friend and me.

Now a days what i do is, we go to a training room and login using my friends system in some unused pc and then remote into the pc to get access to tbhp.

Re: Office Websense blocks TBHP.

I think the office people know that once someone logs into T-BHP, he/she will not work and keep reading all the posts and reply to them.

They cannot take a chance.

Re: Office Websense blocks TBHP.

Folks just wanted to share this information.

Websense blocks Team-BHP, however there is user level access to it. In my organization there are different level of access to different persons, so for many of colleagues its blocked however it works for me. It's not generic that always websense blocks team-bhp, it all depends upon the user level of access which is been provided by Admin.

Hope this clarifies, alternatively you can ask your networking admin to add team-bhp to websense white list of websites.
