the site that hes used is pretty optimistic. when my net was running slow and showing 200kbps on speedtest that one showed 1800kbps..

it also depends on the servers bandwidth. singapore is the best and its much better than the recommended karachi.

area: GK1, New delhi

very happy with my ISP..never has a downtime

my test result is showing downloading speed 125 kbps
and uploading speed 124 kbps
this is i am using fromm my home computer having isp of tata adsl

Last month i got my internet connection from Reliance Broadband. They had their server in my apartment building and were promising very good speeds.

I got the 2 MBPS connection and as they promised the speed were consisten at 1MBPS + when tested on Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test.

This is when the problems started. I got my first bill. I had a clarification and call the customer care for resolving it. They promise to get back but never will. Finally they disconnect my service. After a couple of calls more, i get a call from billing dept. when i am driving. I don't answer and thats it. When i checked the service ticket was closed as resolved. This happened couple of times.

Finally giving up with my ungency for internet, i go to web world and pay the bill by cash. Pity, they don't have online payment service. They promised to activate the service with in 4 hours. 50+ hours and 7 calls later still i am waiting for my service. Alway the response is "As soon as possible. We are sorry." I am surprised they don't mention any expected time. Very unprofessional. When you request to put you to their manager, they put you on hold for 5 minutes and say the manager is busy and ask you if you want to be put again on hold. I just sent them a hot mail and waiting for their response.

My application for BSNL broadband is already in waiting list.

Guys, think twice before you take the service from Reliance Broadband internet.
