Newegg.com does not ship internationally. have you taken shipping costs into consideration?

you mentioned you have people travelling in and out of the US but it isn't an easy job to bring in 19" monitors and Computer Cases with regular travel luggage. the 19" monitors require good packaging while the Computer Cases are just too bulky.

I have been advising people to get AMD for a long time now.
But Conroe is going to be too good to resist. Go for the conroe.

1)Motherboards:

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe $190

2)Processor:

AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice $145
Divide it by 1024 to get the actual speed in Ghz which should b around 3.7

3)Video card:

XFX PV-T73G-UDE3 Geforce 7600GT $180
These are Nvidia cards and you do get support in India. Its here available in 2 Brands both Nvidia which are XFX and BIG.

4)Hard disk:

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB $110
Obviously Seagate its more reliable and its SEAGATE

5)Dvd writer:

Samsung w/ lightscribe w/ 5x DVD-RAM write $35

6)Memory:

CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) $180

In amd athlon 64 3800+ venice, the operating freq is 2.4 Ghz.. how'd u arrive at the figure 3.7(in sense divide by 1024)?? somethin to do wit OCing?

AMD 3800+ venice seems to be the best buy as of now.Go for it.

I repeat here what i wrote earlier, that u should not spend $180 on mobo if u r going to buy processor worth $145.Buy any non SLI Asus mobo with 939 socket for abt $100-140.

Rest of configuration is good. And buy some better cabinet, like antec with atleast 400w SMPS.

barbar :- Its to be divided the same way u convert Mbs to GBs which is to be divided by 1024. (Though its a reliable source i may be wrong if so then plz enlighten me) Whatever u do it cannot be 2.4Ghz how did u reach there.

And while we are on cases. consider going to www.case-mod.com and there you will find a pre assembled case with water cooling system ( much much more affective than our traditional fan systems ) which will make the computer speed convert from a Fiat to a Ferrari also the case has hydraulic arms and LEDs and Neons all over the case.

@irulee goto the mid of this page n see how i got 2.4 Ghz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103531
n every1 knows bout watercooling but doesn make sense as im not into OCing or anything and not gonna take high heat producing parts.. And tat site can do nothin to alter the speed of the comp (fiat to ferrari?! wat u tryin to say man???!!).. LEDs etc are all cosmetic..

@rsjaurr wat do think about am2 socted instead?? the ones which iv posted above.. n y is it u saying not to buy a more expensive mobo. isnt it more "future proof"??
