Hey I have a Zune and I do use it with my Pioneer 3050U as Aux input. I got my cable through my friend who bought it from Croma in Bangalore. Just ask for 3.5 Jack.

There is no special auxilliary cable. You can buy a Stereo EP to RCA (I think the 5050 Aux in is an RCA) or a Stereo EP to Stereo EP (If the aux in is an EP pin) and you are in business.
Hi Sam, got myself a Stereo EP to Stereo EP, am not very happy with the sound quality. The sound quality is a little less when I connect a pen drive compared to the SQ from a CD. This Aux SQ is lesser than USB. Is it the low quality cable problem or should I go for the Stereo EP to RCA, does that make any difference?
My wife has one and it was gifted by a US pal. Not sure about Indian stores sellling accessories.
My nephew visited the Micorsoft campus at Hyd last year, and one of the prominent stickers on the notice board on top 10 products of MS that suck big time had Zune at the top spot :)
After hearing that, my wife shied away from showing him her player.
Lol... anyways glad to know there's another Zune user. The previous generation Zune (Zune 30) was bad compared to the new gen ones. It was basically a rebranded Toshiba player. The new gen Zunes are pretty good with great sound quality, user interface and looks.
The latest zunes are as competitive as they can be compared to the ipod. It's the image factor that helps ipod more than anything else.
I would go for the zune.
I have a zune from the past 2 years. I am not an apple fanboy but the ipod is anyday better.
There are a few major irritants in the zune.
1. It does not support enhanced podcasts (with chapters)
2. The software (on the pc) sucks.
3. The way albums are displayed is really irritating. If you have an album with say 20 tracks but all are from different artists, it is displayed as 20 different albums.
It is not all bad though, i found the sq better than the ipod and the screen is very nice too.
I broke my zune a few weeks back (cracked the lcd). Have to replace it soon. Will i buy a zune again ? NO WAAY
Image part ipod wins and ipod accessory market is well developed with lots to choose from. Comparing the sound quality Zune scores over Ipod even tough it doesn't have an equaliser. I have listened to same songs copied from the same source on both zune and the ipod with their OE headphones, zune has a slight advantage in with sq in playback.
Also another plus for the Zune is the FM radio.

If given an option to choose between ipod and Zune i would've gone for iPod, but anyways now i'm happy with the Zune eventhough i didn't make the choice and i don't wish that i had an ipod. Zune HD is something that i'm looking forward to now.
Zune HD is the bad boy from what I saw at the microsoft store yesterday. Awesome screen.
have one of the old generation zune 30 and would i buy one if this one broke??? NO WAYS!!!
the sound quality is just about ok, the PC software sucks, it doesnt read file info correctly...you get the hint right :deadhorse
i heard they are launching it again, this time a HD model. with collaboration with nvidia
