N91-5 or Ipod+Mob????

Guys I had collected 25k and decided to go buy myself the Nokia N91-5 (without wifi) after selling my Nokia 6600 and SE k550i (How much shud I sell it for???)

But my Dad says that 25k for a mob is a waste of money, he is telling me to instead go for a normal mobile, cam not necessary as I got a 6MP Digicam and an Ipod 4GB player....... now if I want I can go for the N91-5 but I wanna go for the best option available. What can I do now???

BTW The Ipod I was mentioning was the Ipod Nano 4GB..... and plz rush in the replies!

Bro,
go for a black Nano and a Nokia 6280.
It will easily fit in your budget.

i used the n 91 for a month and the experience was sad. the phone was slooow and it would continuosly hang if i had even the regular apps like the music player phonebook and call log open simultaneously...

BTW the phone memory was almost full and had only 100mb left ....

Its a comparision test between Nokia N91, SE W950i and the Ipod G5 Video....Considering only the audio dept, on std headphones, the N91 scores a bit above Ipod....

I-pod + mob is definetely a better way to go. In fact, try looking for other mp3 players besides I-pod, like Creative. (coz personally I think I-pods are totally overrated)

Read at places that the N91 is very slow and now coming to the audio quality..... have any gone thru that link i gave? Even I was backing because of that 2 seperate devices, duh...but i kinda feel that N91 is kinda overpriced....

Is it necessary for you to go for nokia n91?

As you are going for n91-5 without wi-fi, I got another good option for you.

Samsung I300X. WIndows, stereo speakers, 4 gig hard-drive and looks good too. Check for availability in India.

You can also look for non-hard drive phones such as walkman series, ROKR E2, E680i, 3250 etc. they will be cheaper even with a 2-4 gig sd card.

I found 3250 HUGE but n91 aint small either... i find carrying two devices too cumbersome... All Nokia/S60 fone get slow as u install/uninstall applications. But the idea is convergence, in the N91 or the Samsung u would get a Good to decent Digicam + musicplayer + smartphone.

Over the last weekend I had the opportunity to actually get up close and personal with the N91.. and here's my PoV... IT SUCKS.
You'd be better off going for a seperate Phone and seperate MP3 player.

A friend of mine celebrated his birthday this saturday.

he got an ipod nano. He used a HP 6300 series pda phone. He just put up a question of what he should be doing with the ipod.

the decision is clear. Its not just n91 that makes a good music phone. I can still suggest you a different camera but music player is a strict nono.

But then its ultimately you who has to decide.

Now what does that mean??? Camera is not a priority, mainly Music player capability.....and BTW i dont wanna go for SE or anything else as they become extint soon and have a bit compli user interface,
