I settled for an x box 360 just because of the number of title available in first person shooter and action. moreover good titles in xbox 360 comes for sub 2500, while in ps3 it was at 3500.

the best game for me remains to be god of war 1 & 2, on ps2. chains of olympus on psp is also worth playing, though the length is short. wish to buy the ps3 when god of war 3 comes on ps3. by that time, i will have to save for both a ps3 and a neat hdtv.

Hi All, good news the ps3 40 GB is available for 20k and the Wii with modchip installed is for 19k. Now the bad news - no b&w

wii is the best

ofcourse, we all have PCs at home for hardcore gaming anyway. why do you need a console that gives you more of the same?
nothing like the wii. have been using it for a year.

Hey guys, if you're finding it diff to download the 2.35 update from your PS3. You can download it onto your comp from this site and then transfer it using a USB drive.

hey guys just bought PS3, my pupose was movies and games, am not too much in games, so I thought instead of spending money on harmon kardon DVD bes is buy PS3 for future blue ray advantage as well,
Now the problem is PAL movies are not accepted, any solution????

edit - if theyre dvds then forget about it. ps3 is the worst dvd player. lol.

@A4, there is no way you can play the pal movies if your ps3 is a ntsc one as of yet.
buy a normal dvd player to watch your dvds in pal ;-)

Recently, my 4 yr old Sony DVD player started playing honky-tonky while playing DVD's and i tried PS3 for the same and i realized that it does not play PAL DVD's

.

I have a collection of over 150 original english DVD's and thankfully only a few of them are in PAL

Anybody recommends buying NFS-Prostreet( PS3)? I am planning to get one but not sure if its worth its price.

Any short user reviews would be really appreciated.

please dont. it utter crap after playing gran tourismo 5. if u get for less than 1.5k rs then buy it.

Im not sure if this will work but, if you install Linux on your ps3 you will be able to use VLC media player which IIRC is region free.
