Firefox..!

Firefox is the best one...! all the gr8 features... recetly closed windows, tabs, open all bookmarks at once.... and the list goes on....

But the only downside is many sites are not designed for firefox.. they look pretty weird on that... have to use ie for em...

Tabbed windows were invented by Opera.
Needs add ons for basic functionality too.

Opera 9 for me, excellent browser.Shifted to Opera after using Mozilla for ages....
IE sucks, period.

Surprised to see no one has voted for IE so far, although most do say they run home to IE (mommy?) if things stop working.

Even I run home to mommy, but she is the last resort. She is not as well organised as Hot Miss Firefox. The short cuts and icons are strangely arranged in IE7. Navigation is not too easy.

been using IE 7 with XP, just a feeling that for security IE7 is good and otherwise quite comfortable with it. Some pages, especially the online vernacular newspaper do appear funny with FF.

Mozilla Firefox. Been hooked on to it for the last 2-3 years and love its speed, functionality and of course, tabbed browsing. Although IE7 also has tabbed browsing, but its nowhere close to FF.

Yes, like others, even I have to resort to IE(6) when it comes to those few moments /pages when FF acts funny. But I purposely didnt install IE7 on my office lappie as it is very slow and crashes too often. I still prefer IE6, if the need be.

Not in my case atleast. I use a small extension called IEview to render pages which is not very successfully rendered with Mozilla browser engine.

And things don't just stop working without IE. It can be done better if all the web designers think about different browser engines while designing a website.

I think we should allow to choose at least two. My choices:
1- Firefox
2- Opera

Don't like IE at all

Hi,

Try the 'IE tab' Addon for Firefox.

Firefox any day. I do agree there are issues with later versions 2.0.0.11/12 like high CPU and huge memory.

Tried Opera, use IE probably 1% for pages that work only in IE. These days I try only IE compliant pages in IE Tab of FF.

Firefox for me all the way! IE, what on the earth is it? Windowz, what is it? I seldom boot windows, so, IE is a strict no no! Even on very rare occasions that I end up booting windows, I have Firefox installed. I do have Safari in my iPhone and I have used it. But, so far, Firefox has been the best for me. I think I will have to try Opera for the heck of it.

I am using FF3beta4....its amazing....even faster than FF1.5 when it first came.
highly stable...i have tesed it with >65 pages opened simultaneously! 59 tabs in a single page! still worked!
I have also noticed that it consumes less ram than any other browser......guys try it once

FF2 is highly bloated and it hangs a lot.
