Superb laptop, isnt it CaliAtenza? Even Rehaan has a newer and more powerful version of the same chassis.

If you arent already, check out www.x1000forums.com. Its a fantastic resource pertinent to our model series.

Hmm, never saw this thread before. Well, I use my work desktop much more than my laptop, almost 90% of the time.

Work Desktop
IBM xSeries 205 with Windows 2003 Server
Pentium4 2.8GHz with 533MHz FSB / 512KB Cache
1 GB RAM
36.4 GB Ultra160 SCSI 10K RPM
73 GB Ultra 320 SCSI 10K RPM Slim
19" Samsung Colour Monitor
512Kbps Broadband connection (heh, heh)
Samsung DVD/RW Combo (about to upgrade to 4.7GB DVD+R/RW drive)

Home Laptop
IBM ThinkPad G40 with Windows XP Professional
Pentium4 2.4GHz
15" TFT LCD screen
DVD/RW Combo drive
30GB HDD 4200 RPM

Since I have a good HTS system, I haven't bothered much with audio features on the PCs. Both have built-in audio card and normal speakers.

This is some serious firepower, just curious, why do you need this kind of power in a machine used as desktop?

BTW, my excuse is that I design/develop high capacity telephony software on my desktop, I have multiple telephony boards in my machine that are more expensive than the server. Apart from that I have many server applications that I need for my development work.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!

Vulken and Technocrat, you just just blew any competition out of the water man! (even though techno is kinda cheating using an office computer :P )

120GB 7200RPM laptop drive?? jeezus!! im waiting to upgrade to a 7.2k, was waiting for the 100gbs to get some feedback before i invested. Didnt even know they had the 120s out!

2400/1920 15.4" display!!! you are going to go blind in 3 days!!! lol!!!!
Use opera as a browser, the webpage zoom feature saves lives. (mine is permanently set to 120%)

Plus, considering its a 18lbs beast with 5 fans and it has a P4HT processor (runs rather hot) i would keep this away from my lap.....if you know what im saying :P
