Which LCD to buy??

DVI, i presume means Digital Video Input.

i recently saw a 256 MB AGP card from AMD, priced at 2750, which had a port which read DVI. now that had me confused as to what that meant. does it mean that it is an input to the card or an output from the card ?

hope i am not being stupid here.

It means Digital Video Interface....

I hope this clear much of the doubt...

it is newer interface used to connect the display card to the monitor.....

which model is this AMD making......I dont think AMD is making display card.....
