Artificial Intelligence vs Human Intelligence challenge - AI wins!

AlphaGo, an artificial intelligence program developed by Google's DeepMind team has defeated Lee Se-Dol, the current world champion in the board game known as Go. Go is an ancient Chinese board game that has long been considered one of the great challenges faced by AI.

Great demonstrative leap for AI sure but I don't think we're getting close to the terminator era anytime soon. With current programming techniques basically boiling down to yes or no (1s and 0s) it is impossible to spawn AI we can only get close to mimicking artificial intelligence. For us to create true artificial intelligence, I believe our entire computer systems will need to be rethought.

First one I believe is IBM Watson winning the show Jeopardy way back in 2011.

Happened long back and as of what I know currently- Watson can reason in natural human language, learn by itself, interpret and understand images and much more.
