synchronising problem with ipod

hey Guys,
Life was peace until I got my system formatted now have 700 songs in my ipod, when now when i have re installed itunes and its not updating ipod with new songs and videos
ohh yes I am using Ipod 30 GbVideo
Please help

I am unable to understand your question clearly.
You currently have 700 songs on your iPod. You have formatted your system. Do you have the songs on your new formatted system? Are you able to play them through your iPod? Are you able to play your music through iTunes?

Chances are that you iPod playlists (synced) are linked to somewhere else or another folder.

ya I have those 700 in my system as well the problem is whn am listning to a new song in itunes its not updating in my ipod...
why is this happening??

have you set itunes to "Manual Updating of your ipod" ?? If yes , change it back to auto and try.

yeah i did that and good news is I lost 700 songs ,, to my surprise i just has 233 songs in my system so am am poor with 400 songs hehehe
