Anybody using Nokia E50 here?. Review states that font size is too small and someone commented there is no recurring alarm.

Currently using a 6310i and would like to get a similar new gen phone.

I'm using the E50 & it is no patch on the 6310i which I sorely miss. The battery life is nowhere near the 6310i but the signal reception, voice quality etc. is pretty good.

Small font is there yes & can be a problem if you have a vision problem, apart from that a few software bugs need to be taken care of by updates.

Apart from that it's a very good phone & I would wholeheartedly recommend it to people.

why dont you try heera panna. they have loads of phones, even used ones.

they cant be major otherwise nokia wouldnt have released the firmware.. and to sort those out you can just update the firmware when you buy the phone.

price is about 8-9k. had picked up one some time back..

@ SRK yes the phone is good but i did manage to hang it on the first day itself. i do not need a reason like if it hangs u should not buy. soon nokia will have updates as of now there are none. the phone is really nice. will put up my review elsewhere soon, guess ill post it here too. picked it up for 22000 since i paid by card for the same.

if its hanging just update your firmware.. the latest me firmware i have on my phone is 3.0638.0.0.30

Well they can't be new since production for this midel stopped 2-3 years back. However, if you do find some please buy one for me without asking whatever the price!! I would really love another one!

Minor issues, nothing major as such. Happens one or twice a month so nothing to worry about. Yes the recurring alram works properly.
