I came across several discussions about Nexus 10 not working (no audio) when connected to Panasonic TV's via HDMI.
e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1999053&page=7

Seems there is no resolution so far.
Nexus 7 does not have HDMI, so the problem is avoided at least for that one. :)

Is it worth buying a videocon or a sharp??

They are pretty VFM and very alluring. The Sharp one actually comes with a 29 inch size which suits my requirement perfectly.

I am basically looking for a 24 to 32 inch LED TV under 24k

Not sure about Videocon, but Sharp panels are really good. Not sure how popular it is India though.

If your deciding purely b/w these 2 brands, then Sharp is the one to go for eyes closed.

So, it looks like the units have managed to crawl out from Chennai warehouse to Bangalore at least. :)

Great price.
I suggest go to Crossword and buy a Blue Ray if you have a player.
Edit: If you need second hand, search on erodev, sulekha or other classified. You will save money.

If not, you will have to download from the Internet.

Was the ST50 available with the dealer? If yes, what were the prices? Is it from Panasonic brandshop or some other multi brand dealer / electronics store?

Congrats Raghu,

Pardon my ignorance, is the price for 42" or 50?

Shan,

GT50 is 50 inches.

Guys, please suggest a good blu ray disc player to go along with a 40inch Samsung LED ?

Would it be preferable to go in for a Samsung player ?

I was a big fan of Sharp in 90s but they faded away from market in between. Used their CRT TVs, VCRs, Cassete players, CD Players (still working). Has anyone tried the new Sharp India products? I'm in market looking for a VFM LCD/LED, 29 or 32 fits my requirement as its for using in a small room.

Hi Raghu,
Do take precautions during first 200 hours as documented on the WWW.

Are you planning to run in some slides or something else?
