Dear friends

This is my first post and first thread. i need some help from you'll.

I did the search for a computer config on this forum and found that most of you'll have configurations above my basic knowledge to understand.

since I am buying a basic pc for home use would like to know from below which is better based on a "lower Budget"
my usage is for basic internet, chat, browsing, and some MS application usage, Games yes but not high end gaming.

Option1
AMD4800 - 256 ddr - 10/00 - agp built in - sound built in - network built in - 40 gb - cdrom - 17 crt monitor - Price approx IRs 11K

Option 2
Intel P4 - 3.06ghz - 256ddr - 128 agp - 10/100 network - 80gb - 32 bit sound - 15" LCD - Price approx IRS 20K

Please suggest based on my "usage" and also let me know if I can increase the RAM in each option.
How good is AMD??

go for AMD4800 with 1gbRAM since your not buying lcd in this option and 80gb hdd amd is good unless you want to go for the core2duo
