MMC - Nokia 6670

Hi,

Recently got my Multimedia Card in my Nokia 6670 corrupted. Was considering an upgrade to 1 GB card, the vendor told me that 1Gb card would cause sofware hanging and insisted to buy a 512 MB. Any suggestions?

Buy two 512 MB. If one is corrupted, you still have another one. I am not sure about the phone hanging thing.

512MB is the max that you can put in your phone for it to work normally. anything more, it can be dead slow or hang.

Yes. I have had a similar experience too. The maximum you can go is 512 MB. Anything more than that would make you hate your phone for the way it functions there after. But even with a 512 MB card you will feel that your phone has slowed down. Better try a sample card before you buy one.

I have a 512MB card on my 6630 and i have noticed a few things...

1. Battery life is down
2. Phone hangs when i take out the card (no warning sign)
3. If i store my sms/mms on the MMC then it takes a while to open the inbox also the battery life really goes down.

Go for 512Mb, It is reliable and will not slowed down your phone.
