Best 2FA Authenticator Apps?

Hi,

Can anyone guide on a better group of 2FA authenticator apps for use at google, and other pages.

Believe we do have google authenticator. But I am looking for a comprehensive one which stores keys locally on the iphone / ipad, and not transport the keys to cloud.

Google authenticator, Authy, and OTP Auth all store keys in cloud. Not comfortable though.

On another note, apart from email 2FA, did any banks in India start implementing TOTP for web login ?

I use Authy, because it helps me sync my data across devices mainly the mobile, laptop and PC. The syncing across devices can be disabled if you wish and have it store the info locally. I also protect Authy with a relatively complex password.

You can also consider using a Yubikey for 2FA. AFAIK no bank has enabled TOTP for either login or transactions. They choose to use SMS which brings the danger of SIM swaps and a problem in areas with weak coverage.
