Bangalore and Mumbai are target cities.

I think it will be shot down because of security concerns though.

Amazon had started off deliveries by drones in US sometime back I guess. Had seen it in their US website last year or so.

Quite innovative. But what if the drone gets stolen along with the package that is to be delivered!! Would Amazon be responsible if the drone falls out of mid air due to controls/motor malfunction?

I believe pizzas are being delivered in some parts of Bombay using a drone. It was featured on tv a couple of weeks back, on 'Tech Guru' IIRC.

Though it is a grey area in India still as no law exists to distinguish between a "drone" and toy RC plane using 2.4 GHZ ISM band.

And anyone else noticed this?
I purchased Formula 1 Wash and Wax from www.autofresh.in recently.
I also bought Meguiars Deodoriser and Rainex from this site.
.Products arrived in good condition.

This is interesting. The same product is available at two different price points on the two websites.

http://www.autotrends.in/formula-1-c...x-shampoo.html

http://www.autofresh.in/exterior-car...420-8223417740

Any suggestions which one is all right? Experiences?

re: The "Online Shopping" Thread

I ordered three items from Pepperfry about three weeks ago.

One arrived amazingly quickly. The second, I lodged a complaint and it (coincidentally?) arrived the next day, and the third is not even despatched yet, and I logged a complaint about that.

I had no answers to either of my complaints.

2/3rds not-good experience.

@pratyush6. The price difference of the product between these sites is very less.I decided on autofresh as it was recommended by pedalonfloor in the detailing guide in TBHP forum..
Reg Experience,Yet to open. Will relate soon.
Container appears to be genuine.I am sure the contents are genuine, too.

Contd... I have confirmed the product sent by autofresh is genuine. It has a hologram"Matrixone",the importer and the importer label with Month Year of Import as May 2014.. Printed text on container is also clear and un-smudged.
I could not post the pics due to size issues.
I have started using

re: The "Online Shopping" Thread

Have anyone of you got such a message ?

Greetings from Flipkart.com!
You made an excellent choice by deciding to purchase one of the top selling products on Flipkart. However due to high demand for this item and in order to provide all customers an equal opportunity to avail this great deal we had to cancel the following items in your Order OD4082604XXXXX.

What is flipkart thinking when they send mails like this ?
I never bought this from flipkart before . How do they know I am eligible or not ?From when did flipkart started to have a self styled doctrine of Democracy ,Equality and Socialism ?
Are they taking me for a ride?

Some context? What was the item (FK link if you can)? If they have 100 units of some item and > 100 orders, they sometimes might have to cancel a few orders.

It's crap! All customers getting an equal opportunity? Nothing equal about your opportunity!

Flipkart promised to revolutionise internet shopping in India with good products and good service, now they just play stupid games.
