I purchased a Hugo Boss perfume from Paytm as it was very very cheap. I was debating it for days... however pulled the plug. The package and the bottle looked very real. The plastic cap was what looked crude to me. So I just returned it and got a refund. There was no fuss. I suppose we have to be careful in what we buy and be realistic on the price expectation as well...

How to check if the Adidas is original? Any pointers like what would be the product code?

EDIT: Found out the Adidas product coding on the net. When my pair arrives, will check the code online to see if I get same results.

Find the Product Code on the shoe and/or the UPC code and Google it.

You should be able to find pictures of a real product on the Adidas site or Amazon (only Amazon fulfilled not any other seller). Compare if they are the same.

In my case the product code was of the same shoe model but a different color.

Also the shoe should be shipped in the original Adidas box which has the same UPC and Product Codes as the Shoe.

Anyone ever have luck with Flash sales on the Mi site? Have been trying for the past 2 days now, no luck. Sadly, there are no Chrome addons that help either.

This product says 200 watt inverter?!!
What is this really? It supplies upto 200 watts of current through that lighter socket?! Is that what it is trying to say?

See the product's official page: https://www.belkin.com/in/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=509524

It converts the 12V DC in the car to a 220V AC, to allow you to plug in any standard AC plug (e.g. laptop).

Specifications
Quote:
Input Voltage: 11-15VDC
Output Voltage: 220V AC
Output frequency: 50Hz(+/-3Hz)
Output waveform: Modified Sine Wave
Fuse: 20A
Continuous Power Ouput: 200W
Peak Power Output: 400W
The one ridiculous thing is that most devices that we want to power via such a converter inevitably have a power brick to convert AC back to DC. So the round trip ends up being: 12V DC in car -> 220V AC via this converter -> 'x'V DC via power brick. And this DC->AC->DC conversion brings with it nice power efficiency losses :(

I tried this evening.

Clicked "Buy Now" as soon as the clock finished the count down.

But was told products were sold out!

Was going to ask this question myself.

I'm not sure. Apple's India website says warranty is valid only if purchased from Infibeam (of all e-commerce sites, it had to be this one!).

Worried because bought an iPhone 5S for my daughter from Snapdeal. It's out for delivery.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

I ordered an iPhone 6 from Amazon this month. After activating the phone, I can see active 1 year warranty for it on Apple's site.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

Any experiences here on Delhivery?

My order was shipped yesterday morning by the vendor using delhivery.
The status on delhivery is unchanged since yesterday
"shipment received at origin centre" - 10:57 am 05 Nov 2015 - Bahadurgarh (Haryana)

Ordered through Paytm. I am so used to the fast delivery by Amazon that this looks like running at snails pace.
Order was placed on 03/11. With Amazon, I would have received it today.
